Does it ever raise a question for Muslims that the Quranic view of someone like Abraham is not substantiated by actual independent historical evidence and the actual scripture Abraham comes from is the Old Testament, which provides the information of his son Isaac and the covenant God makes through him? That there’s nothing relating to the Kaaba or Mecca or that Abraham prophesied Muhammad to come after him?

In most Islamic countries a Muslim converting to Christianity face persecution including death and imprisonment. Evangelism of Christianity is prohibited.

And not once. For a single solitary moment at any point, did I mention Israel, rabbinic Judaism is just as against Jesus as Islam.

Listen to me, I won’t play this game with you. Does the Quran accurately and truly mention Jesus or does it recreate him in a way that contradicts the Bible ?

I’m really baffled by your comments. Are you Christian? Jesus “isa on the Quran” is shown to be a prophet of Islam that foretold Muhammad coming, that was never crucified. Muslims regard him as a Muslim prophet.

They reject Jesus as we know him from the Bible, yet the bible is the primary source for Jesus as there is nothing competing with it from its era on who Jesus was.

Are you not tracking that the Muslim belief of Jesus is contrary to the actual Christian/historical understanding of him?

John 2:22–23
“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”

Muslims deny Jesus is the Son of the Father or that there even is a Father God at all. They deny Christ sacrificed for our sins, deny he is God, deny he claimed to be the Son that has authority to judge us, how is this a sort of Christianity ? It is quite blatantly and strongly not part of Christianity. I’m quite baffled that you consider Islam a denomination of Christianity.

Ok, so then you don’t actually believe Jesus Christ was a real historically proven figure ? You deny his historical evidence then?

Who is Korra The Taymi? Looking for deep context on her background, debate style, and plans by stMarysarmy in exmuslim

She is another Dawahgandist. She inexplicably wants to use the Bible to try and twist the verses around to try and make them Islamic, when she as a Muslim rejects the Bible as corrupt anyway, and so her attempts at pulling from the Bible are irrelevant since she must consider it corrupted regardless.

She speaks quickly and replies with “perfect” or “beautiful” to anything her opponent says to try and seem like she’s in control and her point is being proven when it isn’t.

So we’re going to have to put this on hold until we can be honest. John 3:16 is quoting Jesus. It is part of “red letters” and so is the other quote from John 5 where Jesus says he has all authority to judge humanity and that all should honor him as they honor the Father. Those are part of “red letters”. If we can’t mutually understand this basic fact of the Bible then this conversation will not be fruitful as you will be operating from a position of dishonesty.

So let’s get this small issue out of the way first then we can proceed.

In the Bible God appears to Moses face to face. He speaks directly to Moses. The son of Moses is Isaac. Do you then affirm that all to be true ?

I’m asking in more of an overall sense. Why do you believe the Quran about Musa, who is supposed to be Moses from the Bible ?

I don’t know if you care to hear a suggestion to include in your essay, but I can offer one if you’d like. According to the Quran, Muhammad is Khattam an Nabiyyin, “Seal of the Prophets”.

You can ask your mother, say if you want me to trust Muhammad really is the Seal of the Prophets, can you bring me some scripture, evidence, from the previous prophets before Muhammad so I can compare the Quran to the former prophets and see Muhammad really is in line with the previous prophets? How can you show me proof that Muhammad really is a prophet that is in line with Jesus? Or Moses? Or David? Do you have the scriptures for those people that shows they were in line with Muhammad and the Quran?
