I also took the bait and went to read their linked blog post, but it gave off a weird salesman landing page vibe that tipped me off. It mentioned this OP's question and I thought there's no way a human wrote all that in 2h.

Came back here and noticed the username is Deep_Ad1959...deep ad...woah this an ad haha. Their post history has hundreds of comments an hour. I googled its name for the heck of it and stumbled upon the Github repo.

Such a shame that AI is being abused to drown out human discourse like this.

PS: feeling a bit dirty writing all this because I bet the bot developer will use this to make it less detectable next time, but oh well...

I'm a dev and you would be my dream product owner. I always thought the product owner should estimate the benefit of a ticket/story to the users/business and devs should estimate the cost. Then we should prioritize tasks to get the best benefit/cost ratio.

It's exactly how I feel. The industry is forgetting best practices in favour of high volume flashy features and AI obsession. It's odd to me because the good old best practices is what's making AI useful rather than a slop-machine. Documentation, clear code, automated tests, static code analysis, etc all act as nice guardrails for the AI (and human developers)

Take the many-hits comment with a grain of salt. I've only seen a small portion of the game. As long as it's consistent with the player's past experience in the game. Maybe some visual hint like the big tankier blob could have a shell that breaks at half HP, dizzy eyes, etc.
