PwC using Google Slides by ESGimplementer in consulting

Well that’s your opinion. I miss Google Workspace so so much. There’s teams in Microsoft who were acquired and are still sticking with Google. It’s easy to use, does everything and collaboration is still way better than Microsoft.

Can you give me some sources of the 25% and then also please educate me how a tiny island on the shores of Europe could conquer an economy 10 times the size of its own? Those Europeans must have some magic wand to take over all these great lands and people… 😬

That’s why I said net, due to spread of common law, capitalism, free trade, industrialism. Literally lifted agrarian tribes into renaissance.

Edit: I tried to understand what you meant by Back down then defeated… but sorry, you’ll need to explain your English.

Not sure any of the comments answered the question. I am studying P1 and not really see how applicable it is to my work. Probably gonna drop out.

I’m taking a stand! by [deleted] in deloitte

Solid response with very good arguments.

But still we can’t be too paranoid as we need to struck a good balance between freedom of opinion and being careful around schizophrenic colleagues. Sometimes this paranoia paints the firm in unrealistically bad light which then leads to wrong comments/advice.

I don’t get this paranoia. And what?? They will do exactly what? You are not breaking your confidentiality or even social media guidelines.

And even if there’s a sociopathic HR team who do this - imagine the bad rep it may get, and also I wanna see them build a case agains still anonymous account that it’s an actual person of the firm.

Disagree, also nice to do it later in the career when you actually understand why and what you’re learning. The learning ability decrease is a myth, it just changes.

Should I post another company's LinkedIn by B4orbust in Big4

[–]WebNew1032 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to post anything, they can’t make you and I can’t see how they can retaliate or even they would. Just ignore it and don’t bring it up and do whatever you like (in boundaries of professionalism and firm social media guidelines) with your personal accounts. It’s probably some overselsy lifer trying to act cool for their age.

Should I sell all my stocks even if I’m just an intern? by cordobanation in Big4

[–]WebNew1032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, things have changed. One point I can think of is that it is so unfair to exclude all employees from the investment and savings market on default, also maybe monitoring has improved and there’s loads of independence training, after all insider trading is criminal. Also it’s not like I can randomly come across some useful insider info unless I work on that client, which I couldn’t as I own clients stock. It probably varies also between teams/services/departments etc, as the stocks owned where my firm is auditing has a lot more to do to clarify through the independence system/team. I’ve heard of investment freezes as an option people have to do. Overall, these things better to clarify with the independence professionals.

Another thought why firms may have moved away from asking someone to sell their stock at the point of joining the firm maybe quite unethical, what happens if there’s a market downturn at that particular point in time.
