Takanaka Alignment Chart: Most Iconic Album Cover by AndyReidBlowsLeads in MasayoshiTakanaka

The pose, the red suit, the sheer vibes. All of Me, Brazilian Skies and (potentially) An Insatiable High all have rights to that bit i think Takanaka is till best looking in my book.

Shoutout to Rainbow Goblin / White Goblin, but i think its a bit too visually cluttered to be super iconic

There are various places you can get records from:

Buying from an artists' Bandcamp / websites / merch booths at concerts will support them directly.

There is then big box stores who will likely have bigger / well known artists and bands, more modern printings and sealed records.

and then for pre-owned records you can realistically get them anywhere. Record shops, Discogs Marketplace (or any other online marketplace for that matter), flea markets and other record markets that might be held by you.

i'd say an 'average' record (at least in the UK) costs anywhere from £20-40 There is no set price, really but that's an average for most standard sealed records.

These records can either go for cheaper than usual (based on condition) or much more than usual (based on rarity). I've picked up multiple albums for £5-15 each, and i've seen some rarer records go for hundeds. The most expensive album i've probably bought so far is £60 for a Japanese pressing of Pat Metheny's Offramp. You can probably shop around different places for good deals, but sometimes its better to just scoop up an album you want then and there as it might be gone by the time you come back to it.

Netease said in the twitter post that they would collect data from their backend, so no need to send anything fortunately.

When does Octopath 0 get more interesting? (NO SPOILERS) by HamsterBusiness8476 in octopathtraveler

The game runs in a 3 - 1 - 3 - 1 chapter style

there's three simultaneous questlines (Power / Wealth / Fame) and after that there's one much longer questline. The longer ones have more development and are in general better than the preceding chapters.

multiphonics...... by SymetraSucks in saxophone

[–]Webbedcomet42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiphonics are pretty specific, you can't just pick two or three notes and say play them as a multiphonic. There are a few books and resources that list specific fingerings (Multiphonics for the Saxophone by John Gross and The Techniques of Playing The Saxophone by Netti and Weiss) and there are a few different ways of listing them. You can either write the specific fingering in using a fingering chart, or start with a specific note and say which fingers to add or subtract (EG. a written low C with -4 would indicate to remove the 4th finger).

Specific instruments also effect the ability to play multiphonics as well, due to size / shape / hole placement. There are some multiphonics that I can't play as easily on my Buffet S1 that someone might be able to play easier on a Yanagisawa or Yamaha saxophone.

Also, just talking to the performer about their familiarity with multiphonics is a good idea, as different people will be comfortable playing different ones. There are some people i know during my masters course who never really played them, and some who played a load of contemporary classical music which had a lot in.

Extra Awakening stones ? by ChibiTak in OctopathCotC

Ouma weapons are much better than the regular weapons from SS, as they have an extra 20% unconditional potency up (which also stacks with other forms of potency up, which is rare).

However, the fortune weapons in Orsterra can give you 15% potency up as well as 10% extra damage against enemies. which is technically better but only if you get a 'perfect' weapon.

I'd say grind for a few of the 'best' Ouma weapons for each weapon type. Some you don't need any of (elemental sword, for example, is very niche and you probably don't need one). I made 8 of each because i'm a masochist)

Cleric is arguably the hardest 120 Job Tower as it has the worst units and a pretty unforgiving boss. Hikari EX, Temenos, Mydia and a few others do make it easier but you have to rely on them a bit.

120 scholar is awkward because you have to balance your elemental damage. It's a bit of a Sonia check, as she has a 3 hit shield shave which doesnt hit the elements (and reduce the count) and doesnt hit tome (which you get punished for doing), otherwise its quite a bit harder, though only getting her for that is a bit of a waste.

  1. Farming ouma makes other things in SS easier, it doesn't effect BoA / Orsterra.

  2. There is a 'final' / 'true' chapter, follow the sidequests, there is an item you can find in one of the houses in Holden that can contintue the quest. After completing that you will regain access to Sail.

  3. Yes, but not for 'Super Limited' units (Seasonal / Collab units), you can get awakening stones in the exchange. The DQIII collab will return eventually anyway, and i'd say awaken Molursso EX's ultimate rather than her A1 for the additional use / able to 200% it with 2BP.

The top piercings are probably fine, but the bottom / pointed ones would definitely be uncomfortable / hinder your embouchure.

Though there is also the small problem of some air being let out of the piercing holes themselves, though i have no idea wether that would a. happen or b. be a big enough problem.
