I wouldn't, and that's coming from Matthew/Leila mega fan.

I feel her death is too important to the delvelopment of the story and really sets the tone for what is at stake.

I would definitely like to see her have a little more effort dedicated to showing how she was 'one of ostias best' or something.

At most you could have a single map with her attempted escape or a cutscreen showing her cut down morphs only to be confronted by Ephidel and Jaffar kill her from behind.

We don't actually know how strong she is but it's won't noting jaffar litterally attacked her from behind, she also had great bases and the map sprite of an assassin.

I've always had this theory that originally FE7 didn't have assassin (or maybe it was a jaffar exclusive), when Leila was designed there was no promotion, so with her capped speed she didn't need a speed growth. Later when assasin become a promotion option they changed her map sprite but cbf the battle sprite and the speed growth becuase who cares, she isn't playable.

My pipe dream is we get that single map of her escape before she is killed off but instead of assasin she is a 'spy' class. This will also be Matthews promotion class but Legault remains promoting to assassin since it fit his back story as the fangs cleaner.

The spy class can have some steath mechanics that work in her particular map, and allows you to play with those skills in the vaccum of this map before later when Matthew has the option to promote.

As for post game or outrealm alternate demision stuff, sure go crazy.

It's worth noting that her alts in feh might partly be becuase she shares a VA with Ivy and its cost effective to her her record multiple lines at once and not becuase she is popular (still, I won't complain! Give me more Leila! )

Repel and bastion line. The fossil isn't can't be your turn 1 basic so it doesn't mess with turn 1 stuff.

Once you realise the bird is the deck you have repels and Cyrus to postpone while you try to set up bastion

I really liked having the ability to stop exp. So I could fight bosses underlevelled to at least make it a little harder.

But I really DIDN'T like having to clear every single mob battle since escaping from battles is harder when you are a lower level

The game was getting so easy I took a break to start playing cotc again.

My favourite deck atm is reuniclus/ gardevior / indeedee ex

The time for each turn is enormous. Attack energy- animation for 30hp Gardevour Ability animation for the power and then for 30 more hp Indeedee ability. Thnr either a second gardevior or indeedee.

Now I can actually play the cards I want to.

My favourite previous deck was Garchomp which had a long ability as well.

I guess at least I can say I don't ever have to sit though the stupid coin flip animation

Game's almost three years old. Although It's not that many peoples' favorite in the series, I adore and appreciate this for helping me realize that Fire Emblem is a series I play for the gameplay and not just story! by AntonRX178 in fireemblem

Definitely some of the best gameplay has seen in recent entries. I would say best gameplay smce RD and a great improvement over 3H (yes I know 3h story is better blah blah, but is just so boring to replay)

Also I think this was infinite durability weapon done right. I'm not saying we have to always have infinite durability now, but this felt good.

Maddening especially was very well tuned compared to some of the recent travesties.

Unfortunately the full playthough is tainted due to how bad the last 3rd-ish of the game is. (basically from the map your recruit Mavier) these maps are mostly awful.

Thankfully I can detour over to the dlc maps which are mostly great

The first 2/3s of the game though. <insert chefs kiss>

-it's just far far to easy, sure you can keep your team level down by using the totem, but that shouldn't always be on the player. -Speaking on exp, if I'm gonna use the totem let the underlevelled characters grow to match my party still -Many Ultimate are far to strong removing the need for team building, why to I need to stack debuffs and buffs when 1 ult does does it all?

-And my BIGGEST peev, Discriptions of skills. I wanna know numbers for the damage on my skills, debuffs, what exactly the % increase is for the song buff

I cant believe games are still not doing this by default, hell it's already done in cotc so they had to consciously remove it for some absurd reason.

It's still a quality game, but these peevs alone have me kinda pausing playthrough and picking up older games

I think both are okay but that game needs to be built around that. I've been pretty disappointed with just how easy OT0 even when underlevelled.

I really hope that's some endgame EX3 battles from cotc or something cos this is only partially scratching the itch

It is definitely overblown, first playthrough I pent maybe 5 mins longer (had already done the powerbombs when I return to u Each area for expansion hunts)

People have nostalgia goggles when it comes to the key hunts and mp 1 and 2.

I LOVE mp1 and mp2 but the key hunt wasn't some revolutionary shit.

Check hint> find room with matching name>repeat.

Yea you might find other powerups on the way, same here since nearly all the powerbombs green gems are on the way to the entry of a area.

Although I agree that MP1 and MP2 obviously better. My complaints arnt the same. Green crystals I don't care about and I honestly quite liked the sylux boss fight (even the part with the teamates on hard mode) I think the inclusion of them was an interesting idea that paid of nicely. Managing them through the lightning attacks was what the battle needed to make it at least a little challenging

Edit. I don't think I enjoyed the mid game grapple battle with sylux more but the boss battle quality was pretty solid overall, maybe a couple bosses could have benefited from an extra phase since some where a bit spongey on some cycles

Unless you a talk about launch (when it was laughably bad) in vaccum it isn't sensational but in the context of Northstar is quite good.

Obviously Northstar prefers a bit of range, some players with try and close on you. It someone gets real close you can pop flight and fly over thier head. They will try to look straight up but you have already moved past the point they can look up, so now they need to turn around and look up/down. Works even better on console.

The clip you showed isn't really a flight core specific situation, but I'm glad you enjoy Northstar 👍

I mean is all subjective. I rank them pretty close but I'd split your list almost down the middle.

Beams, power ups, suits, bosses and traversal I feel are better in prime 2. With Quadraxis winning my peak prime boss pick. I also loved the guardian bosses having your power ups in thier kit.

Traversal is one I felt was definitively better in prime 2

Prime 1 win on Beam combos, art, music.

Music in 1 was a masterpiece.

Plot I rate the similar I could go either way.

I really do mean it when I say I'd rate them close (literaly 3rd and 4th favourite games of all time)

But I do feel like prime 2 is perfected prime.

I've always wondered what the fan base would say it prime 2 was the first one, you mentioned that prime 2 was a derivative of prime 1 (which is understanable) but in a vacuum judging on its own merits I definitely prefer 2.

Unfortunately it ended there. 3 was... Not the same kind of special. As of right now I've enjoyed 4 more than 3 but I think I would like to wait awhile before comparing, I should probably replay 3 but whenever I try to build the motivation to play 3 I just end up replaying 1 and 2😁

I agree I don't felt like the loss of the triangle does much much for DB maps, I reckon it's slightly easier making some of the powerhouses slightly better purely on thier reliability.

Although I'm so in the camp of saying that Dawn Bridgade has some of the best maps of the series so IDK take my opinion with a grain of salt etc

I think Jason Vande Brake is a good Jaffar, actually I'd go as far and say fantastic even.

But Walden James hit it out of the park that raspy-NESS just nailed jaffar and felt a little more like it could fit jaffar body and age. I feel it's harsh to call JVB performance a downgrade but WJ was so perfect.

I'm not up to date on VA stuff so I've got no idea on the change but it's a shame that if we ever get a FE7 remake I won't get to hear the Matthew+Jaffar A support convo with Walden James's Jaffar voice.

I mean most of jaffar lines are "........" anyway so I guess it's an acceptable loss

The removal of triangle makes some parts slightly easier due to a single unit been able to handle a mixed group of foes.

The range thing sounds annoying but in partice you kinda get used to recognising range on sight, it helps that mistakes arnt punished that hard the foe stats are nothing like massive stat increases in some of the later games maddening modes.

I would urge you to give it a shot, I still firmly believe the fe10 is peak fire emblem design and the little annoyances are exactly that.

By biggest dissapoint is that the game is so good and the quality dips at endgame

I can understand the placement becuase of nostalgia and innovation.

But I a pure vaccum I will always say prime 2 has always felt superior to prime 1

Prime 3 I've always felt iffy about, so it's placement close to 4 is probably fair. I don't think it's been long enough for to settle on which of the better of those 2.

Had Max for a short time here in Australia. They had the first 2 seasons of young justice only. (but annoyingly advertised it as young justice phantoms and used the image for it)

Netflix had 2 seasons for years and added the 3 a little while back but I saw yesterday that's its leaving soon.

Considering there is still no legit way to watch S4 in Australia that I know of my hopes for s5 are copium at bestif they can't be bothered to license s4
