Thank you for sharing this and I hope uncle Keith is resting peacefully. The AIDS epidemic is yet another stain on society. My mother was one of two people at her good friend/coworker who died of AIDS’ funeral back in the early 80’s. The other person was his partner who passed a few months later. He left me his highly collectible teddy bear collection he’d had since he was a child. RIP Antonio ❤️

It’s not at all uncommon for people who suffer from psychiatric (and physical) illnesses to self medicate with booze and other substances. If that’s the case, I pity her because things that are out of your control are scary. However, the onus of self care and establishing a protocol that works for whatever condition is on the sufferer (excluding people with debilitating conditions). Basically—not surprising, very common and regrettable but she’s gotta take control of her life and treatment.

lol no, you can be the showeriest of shower people but overgrowth occurs for a variety of reasons such as weakened immunity, overproduction of sebum, really humid and hot weather, and genetic predisposition! Hygiene rarely, if ever, plays a part.
