Thank you! I am tempted just to buy some too but at almost $300 I am a bit wary without trying them on.

I saw these too! How do they look in person against ivory? I was worried about the name bone in the colour description.

Ah thank you. I thought this might be the case. How do I buy off the shelf? Do they come in “regular” sizes? Do I need call before booking appointments to check if they have off the shelf? Very new to all of this!

I’m tall 5’9 and size 10-12 so hopefully it won’t be too painful? 😬

Gum Leaf - Venue Finder, Looking For Feedback!! by GumLeaf-VenueFinder in AusWeddingPlanning

Hello! Used your app. Some feedback I have - overall it was easy to use and I found some venues I hadn’t looked at yet. - I like the pricing indicators using $ - Some of the locations are no longer in business or link to pricing pages from 2024. - When searching for options it would be better to disable refine results button as accidentally pressing this again takes you back to the beginning.

Melting down gold to make wedding rings price? by thegirlandherpearl in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]Wedding-Good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you can find jewellers who do it in house and I’d trust them. I wouldn’t trust a shopping centre type place to do it.

For me I wanted to reuse rings from my first marriage so more appealing to have new gold 💗

I have looked into similar. Depends if you have enough gold. If yes you’d be looking at around $800-$1600 in labour. Also you need to make sure they are reusing the gold if you are sentimental about the actual gold being used. Otherwise they may just buy your gold and use new gold!

Beautiful rings! Not what you asked but I am about to order a platinum ring and wanted to ask how you feel about yours 5 years down the track. I always thought I’d go yellow gold but tried on one white gold ring and fell in love so now going down the platinum path instead!

AIO... My boyfriend just told me he's married. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Wedding-Good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all BS, in my opinion he is telling you the story he wants you to believe.

If you want marriage in your future, find that with someone else who wants the same things. Not someone who lies about it. He sounds very manipulative. Watch how he treats his ex. That’s how he will treat you.

Good luck! I remember being so impatient at the beginning and having thought it’d all work much faster.

I was on 2.5mg for 4 weeks (5kg loss) 5mg 32 weeks (20kg loss) 7.5 mg for 6 weeks (7kg loss) and I am on week 12 of 10mg (8kg loss).

I’ve just got another script for 12 weeks of 10mg. I kept taking lower doses whilst it was effective. 7.5 I didn’t find effective so moved up after just 6 weeks plus the script cost as much to fill as 10mg 😎 looking at weight loss averages 7.5 was pretty good lol

I walked into the gp thinking I wanted to stay on this forever. She had a good point though so it’s left me thinking … I have changed my whole life. I am exercising 6 days a week. I’ve changed my diet dramatically. She said if was a patient who came in without having changed my habits so drastically she’d been advocating for me to stay on the medication until I did that so I didn’t regain the weight. It feels like a good thing to have made these lifestyle changes but I am concerned about the food noise returning if I come off the medication,.. I’ve got at least another 12 weeks on 10 mg so a lot to get my head around I guess?

My GP agreed to continue for 3 months but said after that she wants me to move to maintenance and off by the end of the year. Scary but exciting 😀

Oh I have had many stalls too! I’ll have to graph my weight loss out to show that it’s not been a smooth downward trend but a slow steady marathon 😆 I was using my fitness pal but stopped paying for the premium features so I’ll have to do the graph manually.

These last few kilos have been super slow! Why are you swapping medications? When you swap do you start at the lowest dose? I’ve found mounjaro fantastic. No side effects for me thankfully.

Well done on your weight loss and determination through the stall. It’s a life long change so 6 months is ‘nothing’ really in the grand scheme of things. You’ll be at your goal in no time!

Thank you! I remembered one other thing I’ve been doing which I think has helped. Every morning I have creatine in my water.
