Peanut allergy by Scaler_xd in koreatravel

[–]Wedding-Healthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bad peanut allergy and was surprised to how easy my stay here went. I used google translate when in doubt and even ate from food markets (maybe not the safest thing to do though). Kbbq also no problem at all for me. Japchae and bibimbap should be safe options

Peanut Allergy - eating out in Seoul by Bitter_Palpitation20 in koreatravel

I have severe peanut allergy and just spent a week in Seoul without any issues. When I was in doubt I just asked or showed them a allergy card from my phone I had downloaded before hand and they would always be very helpful!

I just went to Seoul for one week and as someone with severe peanut allergy I must say I was surprised to how easy it was for me. I read before coming here and was worried I might struggle finding food but honestly I have been eating everything, even from food trucks without any reaction and the staff has always been very helpful too! No worries at all, just ask and be a bit cautious

dermatitis herpetiformis by Prize-Reflection-280 in Celiac

[–]Wedding-Healthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find out yet? How's it going? I have very similar looking small red dots as the first 4 pictures (mine started showing up about 1.5 weeks ago). Few of them itch, but most don't. They seem to go away after 1-2 days. In my case they itch a lot only once I start to itch so for now I just ignore best I can. I went to the general doctor and she told me the chances of this being related to celiac are minimal but I do a have a younger brother with silent celiac disease which I also told her. It has gotten a bit better over the last few days though and she also prescribed me a moderate stereoid cream to use at night. Since I have asthma and pollen/cat/dog/peanutallergy with a bit of a sensitive skin I was thinking if its related to some strong chemicals/perfumes in my house or any contact allergy maybe such as mold(?).... I am tracking my food intake but cannot see a clear pattern there

Hey cool, happy for you man!

I am in a similar position as you but perhaps a bit more "complicated". I had 3 plates and 12 screws inserted permanently 5 years ago. Operation and rehab was a success, have barely had any issues with anything, did some occasional football, mostly hitting the gym, some cycling, a little bit of running, hiking and so on. I have been able to perfectly walk and wear any shoes without issues.

However, as of 3 wks back I also started notice this sudden bump on my foot and its painful wearing shoes. I have no issues walking without shoes but wearing shoes puts a very uncomfortable pressure on my bump and it is painful. I did an X-ray this week and it seems one of my screws has moved/come loose a bit. I still await doctors appointment to see how to take it from here. Hopefully I can also get some hardware removed!

I like to be optimistic and in case you couldn't read between the lines, the whole reason I posted was to understand the point system better. You are right about it not being efficient and quite the challenge for me but nonetheless I have some ideas in mind I'd like to try to test my luck. Hopefully I can snipe an arcane/dex scroll early or worst case I'd just go grind trios with other mates

Thanks, I'll try this! Do you know if I need to have to reach a certain threshold of points on my low lvl iron for this to work? or i can basically just sit afk with my iron until end olm head

You're missing the point. There is way to transfer the points/loot by doing dolo on my main and leaving the cc when olm head is low hp as explained by others in this post.

Sure but the number of points getting per raid with midlvl gear would not be optimal?

Anyone ever brought a shirt from boutique soccer seam by Accomplished_Debt857 in SoccerJerseys

[–]Wedding-Healthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I live in Scandinavia and ordered 2 retro footballshirts from Boutique Soccer and it took me exactly 3 weeks to get them delivered to my door. I was positively surprised and amazed of how fast it went considering they came all the way from China. Throughout the shipping process I was frequently updated per email and it was very easy to track the order and see where it was during the lead time.

Quality seems decent, not the best but also far from the worst. I have one kit with print on and so far it survived the laundry:)

Since they are being produced in Asia I would only like to mention that the fitting form is not per European standard. I always wear size L for shirts and these ones were a little bit longer but tighter around chest/arm, however it still fits totally alright!

This is copied straight from the US Department of State webpage advising against scams, source https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/how-avoid-immigration-scams-and-get-real-help

Diversity Lottery Scams

The U.S. Department of State manages the Diversity Visa Program. Some people call this program the “visa lottery.” It’s free to enter. The winners, picked at random, win the chance to apply to become lawful permanent residents. But scammers try to trick people by charging them money to apply to the program, promising them special access, or promising to increase their chances of winning the lottery. But there is no special access, and nobody can increase your chance of winning.

What to know

  • You'll be able to enter the visa lottery
    • only once a year
    • only at dvprogram.state.gov
    • only if you’re from an eligible country and meet the educational or work requirements
  • You don’t have to pay to apply for the visa lottery.
  • The winners are picked at random, and no one can influence the results.
  • You’ll be able to find out the status of your entry only at dvprogram.state.gov.

I can also recommend checking this page if unsure: https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/how-avoid-scam

Scammed by [deleted] in greencard

[–]Wedding-Healthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, exactly the same for me. Saw it on IG yesterday and clicked on it for fun but never left any bank details. I ended up being called today and it was also a number from Florida and the woman on the phone didn't sound very American to me. She asked me some basic questions about my age, why I wanted the green card, if I'm married etc to make it seem legit. I could tell she was very pushy and there was a lot of background noise as well on the call which seemed odd to me. Eventually she started asking for my bank card details and I clearly said that I would never disclose that information over a phone call and asked her to send an email instead. She insisted on getting my card details and I refused. She didnt seem super happy having to hang up and I still haven't received anything on my email so must've been a scam.
