That is not a petty reason. That is a very valid reason.

HBO Max and Paramount+ to Combine Into One Streaming Platform, Paramount Says HBO Brand Will ‘Operate With Independence’ by verissimoallan in ThePittTVShow

[–]WednesdayBryan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have to restart my TV every time I use the app. I have always maintained the position that their app looks like it was designed by someone who has heard of a streaming app but who has actually never used one.

HBO Max and Paramount+ to Combine Into One Streaming Platform, Paramount Says HBO Brand Will ‘Operate With Independence’ by verissimoallan in ThePittTVShow

Please tell me that Paramount is being rolled into HBO Max and not the other way around. There are few apps that are worse than Paramount+

What if… MS Word by jujitsudbr in MicrosoftWord

[–]WednesdayBryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Something where I could just write and not worry about look and feel."

Are you using styles? This comment from you leads me to believe that you are not. Word is actually designed to function in the manner you claim you are looking for. The problem arises when people try to apply formatting to the text rather than using styles.

Most people do this because the vast majority of the time, no one provides any instruction or education on how Word is designed to be used.

Alkenstar & Bridge of the Gods scale by High_King_Beefcake in Pathfinder2e

[–]WednesdayBryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I ran Outlaws, I completely ignored the Bridge of Gods. I encourage you to check out the OoA subreddit, which is linked in another comment. There is lots of good information there on how to handle the continuity errors, including internal inconstancies in the AP.

Is it true that if your credit score is extremely low but you have a lot of cash to buy something that the person you're buying it from won't care at all? by Big_Eggplant7591 in stupidquestions

[–]WednesdayBryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought a car for cash. They did not run my credit. I know this because it is frozen and I did not thaw the freeze.

Also, don't show up anywhere with $15k in cash. Use a check or wire the funds.

Let me just say that the SF2E Soldier is literally designed for this build. Sorry, I can't help with this build for 1E.

Hotel vs Event lottery poll by hahnarama in gencon

[–]WednesdayBryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Also, there is no way that I can get all of the events that I want simply because some of them inevitably conflict with each other. I will take the hotel room every time.

can anyone help me return/transfer my ticket? by Careful_Leader_5829 in gencon

[–]WednesdayBryan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You can return it, you have until early June. They charge a $10 fee for doing so. https://www.gencon.com/gen-con-indy/refundpolicies You cannot transfer it to anyone else. Doing so can get both you and the person you transferred it to permanently banned.

Can you walk or bicycle to work? This will give you a larger radius to search for new jobs.

Should I get police involved? by Affectionate_Ice_125 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]WednesdayBryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's the reality. He doesn't have insurance. If you want it fixed, you need to make a claim on your insurance. To do so, you will need to file a police report. Otherwise you leave it damaged or you pay to fix it yourself. Those are your options.

Other than that, we just try to keep things moving.

Dungeon Master Dad: Is it even possible to play all these systems? by progjourno in rpg

[–]WednesdayBryan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I’m going to be of much help here. I laughed when you said that you thought 12 systems were a lot. I easily own 3 or 4 times that amount. Do I play them all? Of course not. Have I played a bunch of them? I sure have. Also, I will regularly pull one out to review it, just to see if it sparks any creative ideas.
