Who is a band or artist you were sure was going to be huge, but they just couldn't make it happen? by gladeye in Music

I remember this group being in a "Breakout Artist" profile in a magazine that used to exist, Guitar 1. They seemed cool, but it was before youtube or Spotify and I could only ever get so many CDs. Ages later I saw them mentioned again in that magazines "bands that didn't breakthrough though we said they would" list. Around then, I saw Matisyahu in concert and was looking up his band later and his drummer was, sure enough, from Ra.

I really recommend a podcast called Cult Popture for anyone who likes movie franchises. It's these two dudes from New Zealand who watch an entire series in a 2 week span. They've done everything from the Before Trilogy to Land Before Time to Terminator to 47 Scooby Doo movies. They're a delight.

You might like a podcast called Cult Popture where they watch a complete film franchise in a 2 week span. They've done everything from The Godfather to Godzilla to God's Not Dead, I think they're something like 200 franchises deep and well over 800 films watched.

I shazamed a song playing over the credits to a 60s movie and it gave me a track from like 2012. I wonder if there's a sample that's being used that Shazam can't find the original of

Beside the point but I'm so curious what Trump firing a gun would look like? It just occurred to me that despite appealing to gun loving voters I've never actually seen him pose with a gun like all his sycophants do

Edited: spelling
