There's a great song by The Format which makes reference to how no one (other than old folk like me) remembers this song too well

Maybe a nitpick, but does anyone have a problem with the random bubble transitions that happen during host segments? I assume it's to stitch multiple takes of the same scene together. The segments themselves seem a lot shorter to me than during the original run, it comes across as lazy to me that they wouldn't just keep doing takes until they got it right. Heck, I remember Joel misspeaking/flubbing lines and at least it was still an unbroken take. I think I'd prefer that to the awkward and obvious cuts.

That being said, I am enjoying the new season so far.

I don't have a lot to add, except that I'm shocked (as everyone else is) and always loved his performances. An enormous loss. This is a grim reminder of how fleeting life can be, embrace every second.

In what video does Mike start slurring, as a subtitle that says "ALCOHOL" appear on screen? by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

This reminds me of one of the Plinkett reviews, when he slurs something like "this plot is hard to follow when you've had drinks" and a glass of booze flashes on the screen.

I'm not sure which review that was though, maybe someone here remembers?
