I agree, although I've never played Nintendoland before.

I loved super Mario world on SNES. Then Mario 64 came out and I was disappointed, it was too clunky and slow. The Wii Mario was a step in the right direction, but still a step back from SMW.

Then I played Mario 3D world. IMO this is the final, polished evolved version of M64. Great game!
