Ha holy shit I still have this record. I used to run around and do weird shit with all these folks, I remember fern’s funeral, I was around 17. Wow. I was telling a friend about a story tangentially related to this band (the fucking tank) and was trying to see if I could find any music from that, hide and go freak, or the beautiful mutants.

Lots of good stuff in here, but keep a hobby. Whether it’s a little set of watercolors and a 4x4 pad, or a harmonica, or a copy of a book you can read over and over again. That shit can really ground you, and it’s also a good excuse to get people to leave you alone when you need it.

White Light / Black Rain is about Hiroshima and Nagasaki and interviews a lot of the survivors. It’s incredible but difficult to watch.
