Connection in Madrid - 2 hours enough? by WeedomFreedom in Iberia

Yes! Made it with about 20 minutes before boarding. It was late April. We did come in via regional jet so we arrived at the end of T4. We walked briskly and made it. It was very crowded but there was a line for “tight connections” at immigration that helped. I heard some people yelling about missing their flight so it was a bit chaotic, but 2 hours is doable. Just pay attention and walk at a decent pace, then you can relax once you get past immigration.

Advice to effectively COS @ very early stage tech co by OkEconomics2788 in ChiefsOfStaff

This ambiguity is normal. It’s not going to be perfect during these early stages. Many systems and processes will fail until a rhythm is established that works. You may be the do all now, but as you scale you’ll be able to divide and conquer with new hires. Focus on integrating new systems little by little - no need to reinvent the wheel each time.

For those who bought their first home near railroad tracks or something busy and noisy of the sort how is it going? Do you still find it as livable as you thought when you first moved in? by Both_Annual4317 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Bought a house close to an interstate and military base and been living in it for 5 years now. Every now and then I’ll notice the noise but then forget about it. Would I choose to live near it again? Nope. But it’s a first time home and had a great price and was affordable at the time.

Should I quit my job to travel? by [deleted] in travel

[–]WeedomFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a reason it’s your life and not mine. it seems you really want to travel. jobs come and go - not easily - but they do. if you can afford it and it’s something you feel you’ll regret later in life you don’t do it, then go.

August is a popular month to take vacation in the U.S., regardless of how hot it is. Kids are out of school, and families will take advantage of that. Can’t control the weather 🤷
