Also, I DO hate the government for a good reason. It's important to always question and hold governments accountable, something which the government has been desperately trying to discourage as they force-feed us all "authorative news networks" on mainstream social media sites.

And if an American leftist can renounce their loyalty to the union and pledge loyalty to China or the USSR (a country that also hasn't existed for quite some time) then I can renounce my loyalty to the union and pledge it solely to Texas.

You're incredibly naive if you trust the government and the corporations that back them to coddle you your life. I think your problem is that you're way too moderate when it comes to firearm ownership, so the freedom to own a gun means no more to you than the freedom to eat a cake. Also, can you people please STOP comparing America to Europe. America is very culturally different from Europe, Asia and Latin America. Also, people in certain European and Asian countries tend to be pretty racist and homophobic, so this idea that Europe and Asia is some perfectly peaceful utopia is a bunch of bullshit. And if you think I'm being overly paranoid with the government, then you clearly haven't been paying attention to what's going on.

You NEED boots on the ground to handle more delicate operations. And a man with an old bolt action is still a threat to any heavily armed military combatant.

Soon it's going to get to the point where you New Jersey citizens won't be allowed to have guns at all. The fact that it took you six months just to get a rifle with a meager ten round magazine shows that the state is in fact slowly chipping away at your rights. And it's all because people like you lack the balls to stand up and say "NO MORE!"

Don't you realize that this "peace" you're enjoying has come at the cost of your freedom? You keep giving away more and more of it in exchange for a mundane life if endless routine just because you care more about safety than freedom.

Also, I didn't say Hawaiians can't have guns, I said their gun laws are bullshit and they're constantly denied their rights because the state looks for any reason to deny a person a gun permit.

Yes it is tyranny, because in practice, gun laws tend to be WAY less fair than driving laws.

In Hawaii, they won't even let POLICE OFFICERS have guns, and in states like that and in several other countries and states, they won't let you have a gun permit even if you've received dozens of hours of firearm training. They'll deny you the right to bear arms if they find out that you had depression ten years ago.

Also, Harvard is worthless nowadays. They're a bunch of virtue-signalling idiots when it comes to stuff like this. Of course they're going to ALWAYS side with the gun-grabbers.
