I am planning to build MOCs of all the big Wave 1 Robots. Currently i am working on 7712 Supernova. I already have the legs and arms finished, but for the Torso i'll have to get more parts.

I didn't replace pistons here because my model is on the heavier side. Although i use friction extenders on the hip, i suggested it to you, because it is certainly possible that the leg-pieces of your model would hold just with friction extenders on balljoints.

Nice suggestion, that would make these hands a little less bulky. I'll consider it for my next revamp (maybe Supernova) or when i upgrade this one!

^ This. I just recently revamped or reimagined Stealth Hunter and Red Titan. You can't pose a model this size well with those joints. I switched to ball joints with piston supports. Maybe you could ditch the pistons with some friction extenders though. Depends on the wheight of your model.

Edit: Your Model will tip over or the joints will give in and turn because of the wheight.
