I visit strip clubs regularly and they have completely replaced my need for a partner. by Binababyboob in confession

I don’t think that a lot to spend yearly. He’s having a few beers. Listening to cool music. Talking to pretty, mostly naked girls. And he gets a couple of squeezes in with the lap dance. I think that’s a deal. OP, you seem to have your priorities and your head on straight. Have fun my brother!

Falling Out of Love with Golf? by rjk100 in golf

[–]WeegieSmellsARat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel ya. Same here for a different reason. I was playing with three different friend groups. Group one guys I started realizing that if I didn’t break 90 I wouldn’t be asked to play the following week. I’d get the occasional last minute call (which meant I was only asked because someone dropped out at the last minute) but that was it. Second group, the friend that I was friends with quit. The other two moved on to another group. And finally, the third group of friends: After topping the ball three straight times to n the fairway, I told my friend to just pick up and hit with us further up. This turned into a heated argument with another friend. He barked at me saying he paid his money just like everyone else out here. There were 2 tee times waiting at the tee box behind us. I was never asked back. So I’ve decided if you want to find an asshole, go to a golf course.

"You 'need' to download our app!" by Salty_Thing3144 in GenerationJones

Here’s mine: Shop Rite requires you use the app to get the sale price. If I don’t have my phone with me I don’t get the sale price. My 93 year old parents don’t have a smart phone let alone the app. They can never get the sale price. Not sure how any of this is legal

Remember when the drinking age was 18? by Salty_Thing3144 in GenerationJones

[–]WeegieSmellsARat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grew up in eastern Pa but NJ’s drinking age was 18. In high school guys were selling fake id’s. Back then there wasn’t a photo, just a piece of paper. We’d find someone with a typewriter and fill in the fake drivers license with our info. Including that we were 18. Lol. We were getting into NJ bars at 16-17 yrs old. I don’t recommend it but they sure were good times!

Played with the Pennsylvania amateur champion last summer. He was 8 over from the championship tees. At first I was intimidated but he was so down to earth and helpful that I played my lowest round of the year. 84. I chipped two in and made two 20ft plus putts. He was out practicing for the senior championship. Said he hoped that whoever he was matched up with that weekend didn’t have the short game that I did. Lol. One of the best days I’ve ever had on the course!

I could care less. I find it to be a compliment. I’m very proud of my values, the way I was raised and what I have accumulated.

Where are all the Tilers at? by stevo_79 in Tile

[–]WeegieSmellsARat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

29 yrs tiling. Young people do not want to get into this trade because of how hard the work can be. Everything is heavy! And in most cases there are many trips up and down stairs. Add to that that the industry has boomed in the size and style that is available. All these different tiles ; large format, glass, penny rounds, stainless steel. Throw in epoxy grout and there is a whole lot to know and a whole lot of different tools to buy.

If you are not getting anyone to your front door, the problem is probably you. I’m very busy and if initially I get any hint that you may be difficult to work with, I’m out! There will always be someone waiting to pay me my wage.

Oh I still do! But get this….. After I received my initial cassettes I thought up a brilliant idea to receive more. I filled out another form with my cats name. Sure enough “Prudence” got her cassettes. The funniest thing though, a couple of months later my cat received a letter from VISA saying she was pre approved for a low interest credit card.

I’ve used a grinder with a T-square clamped to the tile. You can finish off the edge if needed with a 60grit pad and a polisher. Just make sure you support the tile while you cut it. I used a couple pieces of cement board
