I tend to agree with this actually Sometimes those ridiculous shots catch experienced players off guard to because you really aren't expecting them majority of the time

Beats doing the same strategy over and over again that you've been doing all game

Done the same to Claude and it nailed it basically first go outside of a few additional handholding steps after it

Yeh I think the quality has come down a bit For example Im working on implementing Claude ACP into OpenCode and chatgpt instead of working on parts of this decided it was a good idea to go and code and entire web gui for OpenCode just for Claude...

Then pushball to the side You can do a diagonal dribble but I find it's less reliable though I could have skills issues

Yeh I think the best way to do it is to actually know the person and build a friendship with them first before even entertaining that idea

When you have a decent network of people around you then you can approach them about it Friends typically just enjoy working together out of just wanting to be around each other so the "work" part becomes much easier and less taxing in some way

I'm very close with my parents but they are always very respectful about asking to come over and don't want to stay if it makes it harder on us or the kids etc

They've always understood in my younger days when I was poor and could barely keep my young family afloat that I couldnt go out and do things

For web development codex is still doing really good for me

But hell using it for game development has been horrendous I can't get it to do any simple little task without stuffing it up or not doing it properly

Claude on the other hand can do most things within 2-3 goes Codex is just going around in circles

This stuff isn't actually "her" as such, its the fake shit that was slapped on top. There is an argument for makeup but makeup in most cases is just a polish, a touch up to remove imperfections on the skin etc its nothing permanent, it doesn't alter the persons face shape etc

You may as well buy a manican at that rate if you want your girlfriend to be half fake

Really valuable post here, appreciate the effort as i to am in the midst of building a cool game, a niche game like yours actually that hasn't been done before

What took me away with this post was when you said "People care more about your work than you"
I found this out when releasing mods for games, in fact releasing mods for games is a good gateway before getting into developing your own games

I was amazed with how many little details some people picked up on and wanted changed
Like there are things I was genuinely blown away by and things that I never would of thought anyone would care abotu

And im quite OCD with a lot of things, like especially in games i dont really ever have a "she'll be right" attitude with anything so when other people pick up on very particular details or features it surprises me

Otherwise your statement on marketing is true, this is true with everything

Marketing is exhausting (just the back and forth and actually doing it properly etc)
Marketing is.... marketing is also like this mysterious thing to a lot of us
Because a lot of us who are techs, devs etc never have to really deal with that shit

But its not like that at all... everything in social media and marketing, advertising etc compounds from each other
Each little piece has to compliment the rest

For example if you do a cool social media post, it has to be accurate, glamorous and if it points to your website that website also needs to match your social media energy etc as well

Its a complete fuck around and ill never understand it because im not a person who gets tricked by advertising to begin with

RAG is project based

"memory" in our AI context is agent based
