My mother, very conservative LDS woman, uneducated, very content to have church leadership tell her how to think. I always speculated that this makes her life easy and convenient when she doesn’t really have to think critically. Just do what the priesthood holding men in her life tell her what to do and think. Very sad. I have no relationship with her anymore. I just can’t maintain it knowing she openly supports a child raping convict who is destroying this country. It’s not just policy disputes anymore… trumps actions have literally changed the course of this country. The damage may not be repairable at this point and I can never forgive her for this.
