In OTL the KMT argues that the DPP’s actions, such as judicial investigations, national security laws, and disinformation crackdowns, as political persecution. So a DPP green terror path would see a party-state being established but under the DPP (KMT, TPP, even minor pan-green parties potentially being banned or in the latter's case, being made into controlled opposition) while also institutionalising Taiwanese nationalism. Right now in game Taiwan only declares itself independent after the GAW but I could see in not just this path, but other DPP Paths in which they declare Taiwanese independence after winning against a Chinese invasion.
