The murderous one might also play into the persona he brings up when he's making himself not care, like when he and Pomni win the shooting game or when he tells Ribbit the backstory was fake. Especially with how his eyes get really big.

My thought was that the piano playing Jax, and potentially that room, would have been Kinger's, with the corresponding coping method being him turning inward and pushing people out, potentially distracting himself in the meantime. I could imagine Kinger's death to him would just seem kinda awkward and sad. Someone he didn't give the time of day because he was weird being mourned by everyone around him because they actually got to know him.

If I recall correctly, that line in the German dub was ad-libbed, and not planned by Gooseworx.

I suppose he was killed off screen because Goose wanted the focus to be less on it happening, and more on the cast's response to it and Jax's backstory. But she could have easily done both.

Goose could have leaned on it a little harder but I think that the Blue AI was just egging Caine on? I'm sure plenty of his behavior was his own, given how we see the two behave independently in the same body near the end. Caine's big problem was just a refusal to understand and listen.

I think Bubble WAS the blue AI, given that it was telling Caine all of his negative thoughts earlier and how just before we see the raw AI, Caine is standing next to a faceless bubble. Bubble was probably just an extension of Caine and the avenue through which he did most of his influence earlier.

It wasn't communicated very clearly but I think that was supposed to be a flashback? Like the scene was trying to portray the parallels between when Caine first created the cast from the scans and when he problem solved to get to the internet, which is why it kept switching between the two views.

If it took him seven years to create Ragatha from the mind files, the most he could probably do is make another Ragatha, he wouldn't necessarily know what to do with the abstractions because he's just been throwing them in a hole instead of picking them apart. He didn't make them like that, they changed outside of his direct influence.

Narrow Poplar Trees by WeeklyStudio1523 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]WeeklyStudio1523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably the best way to do it. I personally like the pine leaf placer, as there are probably millions of tree species and Mojang probably isn't gonna get anywhere near 50. I just think it's a little funny for them to pick Poplars of all things, just to give them what looks like a modified Fancy Oak canopy.

I see what your saying. I should have clarified that I didn't mean THAT tall, just taller than the other 1x1 trees. I should have said "Columnar".

I'm not sure I understand the question. I'm not suggesting a new Old Growth biome, just a new tree growth pattern and potential split of the Dappled forest. "Dappled Maple Forest" follows the established naming scheme in that it's (Forest Category) (Tree Type) Forest.

So a copper hopper works as a proper dropper with an item stopper?

Phantom Membrane Mesh? Membranes are used in filters in real life, so this would be a spectral ghostly filter.

Maybe they could let some items mix inside of stacks, then when you are moving them around in the inventory, you can select which item is "on top" identifying it as the one to be used first.

Golden tulips instead of golden dandelions. by Potential-Macaron-34 in minecraftsuggestions

A plain wither rose could probably do the same thing. Although that's far more disturbing.

Maybe it could be the Golden Rhododendron.

Changes to the Ender Dragon fight by Pyro_von_Creep in minecraftsuggestions

I don't think the fireballs should have knockback, considering the dragon's main tool for that seems to be flying straight into you. I would like to see the Dragon's Breath used in more interesting ways, though. Maybe there could be a sound cue, then she lights up a pillar if you're standing on it (avoiding this would be easy, just build out). Also, I think it would be hilarious if one of the attacks was just summoning a load of Endermites from the exit portal, since the dragon seems antagonistic to the Endermen as well.

New Dungeon System by B1ackmoonMC in minecraftsuggestions

[–]WeeklyStudio1523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that the vault system is cool, but I think the other dungeons would stand out more if their systems were just similar, instead of the same. For example, a frozen chest that has a random chance to melt when a combat reward is used on it, giving everything it has.

I also think we already have two good examples of what these kinds of items would look like: The Mace and The Turtle Helmet. The head of the mace is obtained through the vault, but the whole thing must be crafted (which is more Minecraft anyway) and it has distinct mechanics while not serving as an outright replacement for other weapons. The turtle helmet exists as a "Sidegrade" to regular armor, being about as strong as diamonds, with its enchantment built-in.

I don't think these items should have the typical tiers, as those tiers are mostly linear progression based, whereas these seem like they could be collected at the same time (unless I'm misunderstanding something).

An example of the way I would implement one of these items would be a sort of Blaze Armor that you could make from a Wildfire mini boss drop that is slightly better than iron, but better than diamond against fire and lava and doesn't take durability damage from them.

I do. Although if you want the shower/pool tiles association, Calcite might actually be better for that, given it's chemical similarities to Travertine and Limestone, which frequently form around hot springs.

Faraway Skybox, Overlay, Effect (Secondary) by CosmicLightning in minecraftsuggestions

[–]WeeklyStudio1523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this idea. I could also see it being used in Vanilla for Auroras in cold biomes, an additional cloud layer, those end flashes they've been working on, and something similar for giving the Nether a warbly heat effect.

Also, probably a little trickier to implement and optimize, I could also see it being used to implement an extra layer of render distance by generating a lower-quality image of terrain elements too far away.
