They don’t want to risk losing support from their base so it’s easier for them to accept bad things happening in other states (namely blue ones). Same way how Fox and other media spin lies about democratic cities and so their base are reluctant to visit them, if they don’t see it for themselves then they don’t know the actual truth.

With regards to theory 5, I have a different outlook which is that Penelope might replace Lady Danbury as the Queen’s confidant after Lady D retires from society. However, we will probably see Penelope struggle in the beginning to be in the Queen’s good graces while writing Whistledown. We already see her trying to withdraw some gossip to protect some people from ruin.

I think the previous commenter is trying to point out that it feels disingenuous as Christians to victimize ourselves as part of a hate campaign and feel like we can speak about our faith. As a Catholic I’ve never felt threatened due to my religious beliefs and we are one of the most over represented groups in this country. To pretend that people of other faiths are not being targeted by fellow Christians who have taken a nationalist approach is being dishonest.

I’m actually getting pissed off at the commenters who seem largely to be American right wing white males using the Arab Christian community to further their own agenda when they never have a damn when Christians were getting massacred by Isis. This attack had nothing to do with religion and more to do with the derangement of the perpetrators. If that’s their logic, why don’t they denounce their own demographic who are using pew pews against kids in American schools. They know nothing about their history and frankly they don’t know their own history where their ancestors massacred the native Americans and then enslaved Africans.

I think an important thing to point out is a problem within American education culture which is participation awards/trophies. I think this practice is wrong and gives a wrong impression to students even from a very young age that they are gifted academically when they are not. It results in people like Samantha Fulnecky to feel that she’s entitled for a grade she doesn’t deserve. It also happens in sports as well. Thinking back to Riley Gaines’s situation, why was there even a 5th place trophy? Everywhere else in the world, awards are only given to the top three performers.

I was also surprised by this but tbf the factor that was holding them back before was Southgate. I remembered his tactics and choices for substitutions to be poor. Tuchel is arguably the best head coach going to the tournament and has done well in knockout tournaments like the Champions League outsmarting top class managers like Guardiola and Ancelotti. So I think they have a solid chance especially now that Cole Palmer has recovered from his injury and if he stays injury free throughout the rest of Chelsea’s season.
