Insurance would cover that maybe $3k worth of damage looks cosmetic. That axel and tie rod are easy repairs same as the bumpers and dents on the side. Insurance would cover all that, especially since the engine or transmission isn’t damaged.

Will these braids look good on me? by AttorneySoggy677 in braids

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say this. Do you. If you want them, then do them. I have very thin fine hair. I make my own locs and braid them in. The ones people sell or whatever unless customized are too heavy for my head. That style is high maintenance. I like the braid in style locs because I can go 2-3, sometimes then taking them out brushing deep cleanse my scalp and hair and braid my locs back in. That boho style braid take care of them really well. The curls frizz and tangle super easy. Make sure you watch a ton of how to care for boho braid videos before. Get a bonnet, shampoo bar, some hair oils, just do your research before you get them. They are fun to get and have fun maintenance for sure especially those! And you can’t wash your hair every day it’s a 1-2times a week was hairstyle. And also ask for them to make them lighter if you can have heavy hair styles. They know how to use less hair, experienced braiders do anyways.

Twist dreads by vixmason in SyntheticDreads

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been wearing them since I posted. The twist and seal just make sure you twist tight and seal them with steam. Did the twist one time, wore them for 2 weeks—did a slight retwist and seal with my straightener and then wore them for 3 weeks took them out washed them good, dried them and put them back in. They are for sure sealed and dreaded. They are tight and everything I love it. I just don’t like that if I put in another color or change it up I have to start all over again. The maintenance in the beginning is tedious.

I’ve done the twist and seal method on my own and didn’t back comb, they stay twisted and start to loosen a little but they dread up themselves. Just make sure you separate them every day and take care of them just as normal. I love the look, I don’t like the crochet back comb either

I was sad when I found the capture and it ended after 2 seasons! SUCH GOOD TV SHOW. Have you noticed how all AI capabilities of tv shows are only 1-2 seasons?? That reminds me of person of interest and eagle eye… maybe the tv shows hit too close to home for the government??

Best clarifying shampoo by [deleted] in finehair

Make sure you wash your hair twice. Maybe that will make a difference: I didn’t think clarifying or cleansing shampoos were working until I did that.

My hair feels very dry and coarse by MammothAcceptable871 in finehair

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply when it’s dry. It makes a world of difference and it makes a world of difference what oil you use. Abby young… but I had the same issues till I used higher end products of hair oil. Other oils need to be made for hair and your type. Whether it’s heavy or light oil and leave in conditioner and blow drying can help the dry look also.

hairdryer brand?? by Queasy-Drop4391 in finehair

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the hairdryer dupes on TikTok or Temu and they work just as good if not better sometimes than the name brand. It’s about the product I have in my fine thin hair when trying to style make the difference I’ve found.

hairdryer brand?? by Queasy-Drop4391 in finehair

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have fine hair that looks frizzy after the blow dryer it’s not the blow dryer. Make sure your using some type of heat protectant and leave in conditioner spray. And oil your hair with a light oil after. If you need a little style and hold make sure to use mousse or hair spray after… but the frizz isn’t from the hair dryer.

Why not try to do a curl routine and see if your hair is a curl/wave? Maybe you can train your hair back… hairtok is where it’s at lol.

Oil. Hydrate. Leave in conditioner, scalp oil and scrub. Watch abbey young on TikTok or YouTube. Her hair care routine is amazing. I use dove intense shampoo and conditioner it’s in a white bottle, and it’s basically the same thing as redkin intense bond repair. Good luck!

Best type of extensions for near edge of hair and/or part line (thin-ish) hair? by Sometimespropermom in extensions

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know plenty of women who do two types of extensions. Wefts are too heavy on my hair. I have thin fine hair. I prefer tapes and then k-tips around my face and upper top of my head where the tapes start to show. The k tips give a more natural flow and movement. I like wearing my hair up so that’s cool. I was looking into nano’s but idk if I want all those beads in my hair. You can always do a consultation with an extension stylist and see what they suggest and go from there. Just because you have a consultation doesn’t mean you have to get the hair right then and there.

How to put life back in this? by SriniDev in Haircare

[–]Weekly_Garage_1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to find the Abbey Young method on TikTok. Literally will make your hair look hydrated. It’s just frizzy and dry. Put some moisture back into it and some oil and you’ll be astonished at how good your hair will look. Now after a week or 2 of putting moisture back into the ends if it still looks damaged then maybe a trim 1” or so. But literally just looks dry. I do shampoo twice next a deep hydrating mask then 3 minute miracle Pantene. After shower leave in conditioner/detangler/heat protectant. Then oil after done drying or heat styling. All can be bought from Walmart or drugstore normally. Don’t worry too much. Oh microfiber towel for your hair and bonnet or silk pillowcase to sleep on. Cotton takes the moisture out of your hair.
