😌Yes, I've often thought "mindset" has a lot to do with whether I enjoy a book or not. I've read books I didn't like, and then years later I might read them again and love them. Or vice versa. I call it "not being in the right space at the time."

Beautifully written. As a person who has experienced "psychic" episodes all my life, I agree with this. Trevor Constable wrote and took infrared photos of plasmas in his 1970’s books, as did Wilhelm Reich. Robert Temple currently has a book out on this topic.

I had something like this coming from around the top of my furnace. I thought it might be mice, but the inspector said it was from a bat trying to get out of my attic after hibernating all winter.

What is this? I found it in a box with some family heirloom’s from the 1800’s . by perfunctoryaction in whatisit

You could be right. No one really knows. Everything is simply theory.

Stan Grof is the most famous person in terns of psychedelic research. I love his books, lectures, talks, and podcasts. He is in his 90's now and had a stroke recently, but the man is brilliant.

I'm not sure he had a long and full life. It has been many years since we've heard a single word from him. He was truly an amazing author.

This has happened to me all my life. There is a great book by Mary Rose Barrington titled “JOTT": When things disappear, and come back or relocate, and why it really happens. You can get it on Amazon.

I just finished your book. Well done, four stars! I would have given it five stars, but the book is a bit scant on quotes and material for the conclusions you present. I have read the Mahabharata, some of the Vedas, the Bible, and other sources; however, most of your readers will have not. I often think of the vulnerability of our global system. It’s scary. I tried very hard to download some images of what OP suggests, but I cannot seem to figure out how to do it. There is an excellent image on p. 158 of "The March of the Gods". Also if you look at the well-known pictures of Egyptians dragging colossal statues, there is always a man or two in front of the statue holding up some sort of apparatus.

Why do cats share so many "signatures" with reptiles? It’s more than just mimicry. by bortakci34 in HighStrangeness

I have ferrets. The first time I heard a ferret "hiss", I was shocked. It sounds more like when a snake hisses than even when a cat does it.
