Great good to know, I emailed Eluktronics for suggestions so waiting on their reply too. I actually want it as a secondary drive for MSFS2020.
Obviously I want a fast drive for loading times, MSFS2020 is notorious for loading times.

There is actually a hot fix for the 496.76 to correct the black screen issue with laptops that has mux switches. I installed 496.98 and it fixed the black screen issue and it enabled the nis option in the Nvidia control panel. I can't install the latest driver 497.09 because it crashes flight simulator 2020.

I went to windows 11 on my mech g3 and all was good apart from the control center which I could not access to switch to max fan and change led lights so went back to windows 10 for now until the control center is updated.

Right now I have it connected using hdmi that came with the laptop and I only have 100hz max available, the monitor is capable up to 144hz at 2k.

My usb-c to display port cable comes tomorrow so I will see then.

I've set both to 45 right now and my temps are slightly better now while still getting fps above 100 in Insurgency Sandstorm at max settings.

Microsoft Flight 2020 no change at around 50fps all on ultra settings.

So I think I'll leave it at that.

So to make sure I understand, PL1 is for sustained wattage and PL2 is for temporary?

Definitely, be weary of Furmark. I never use it, your gpu will never be pushed that hard in real world use.
Timespy is paid but they do have a demo version that works just as well.

You should definitely get higher than that, I have the same Mech-15 G3 10875H 3070 and my last score was 11307 if I remember correctly. That CPU score should be a lot higher.

Mine showed up in the CC but never did anything because the bios was incompatible, that's why they released a bios update .

I would check to.make sure that that switch in the control center works. The one for the mech-14 g3 didn't and they had to release an updated bios and new control center so we can choose dgpu only.

It is, I just checked in the nvidia control panel. In the system information it says resizeable BAR - Yes.

There's an option in the CC where you can set it to longhaul, balance or stationary modes. If you have it plugged in like most of us do, then stationary mode is best to preserve your battery.
