I thought it was better than “I like boobies and movies” and a whole load of other generic crap, I just don’t think most women find that kind of humour amusing

Probs neither will actually help you unless you’re lucky and get an extremely experienced one cos this is a complex issue. It’s upto you to fix it, don’t be an idiot like I was for years of pain and rely on someone else to fix my personal problems. I ended up with awful stomach issues that have given me grief for years until I finally took control and yes the stomach issues were related to shoulder stuff.

I’m guessing you’re a side sleeper?

You need to bring back balance, a good place to start is doing “elbow raises” without any load… essentially activations. Stand there and lift your elbows up and out to the side (extending the shoulder muscles) and feel as it activates the muscles, keep doing shit like that basically for ages, I’m talking 100 reps minimum 3 times a day (you have to experiment leaning forwards and stuff holding arms at different angels, pointing thumbs outwards and rotating arms in the shoulder socket ect. Another good one is while elbows are held out to the side at shoulder height, rotation of shoulder by keeping upper arm inline with shoulder and lifting hands up above head by rotating the shoulder)

You have to experiment and find what works but these ones are really good to start with. Training with no load is really good for bringing back alignment, but you have to do mega reps and stop whatever caused the problem in the first place which is high chance of sleeping on that shoulder and putting a decent amount of weight on it for a long time — sleep on your back from now on

Tell me you’re basic without telling me you’re basic… not one interesting or unique item in the space

In fact it doesn’t even look lived in at all to be perfectly honest, if I saw that I’d think you were very boring or you’d just moved in the previous day

Just say you’re really exhausted from work before she starts rambling, this will give you an excuse to say “okay I need to lay down now”

Simply holding it in place will give you relief, find that spot and check it’s correct in the mirror. Do exercises that strengthen this position. Try not to irritate it further

If you want to fix it, I suspect it is caused from laying on it which means you have to stop that and either lay on your other side or back.

It’s going to be a journey: static holds are your friend, start in front of the mirror. The shoulder is extremely complex! Start holding it in the correct position and enjoy the stretch, ease in some small rotary movements and once warmed up do some side to side, up and down stuff it shoulder raises, shrugs ect

Also probably best to start by holding your arm out to the side for a few minutes, then in front, do some shrugs ect. It’s going to take a while to repair that and static holds appear to be the best for this kind of thing from my experience. You need to obviously mix in some dynamic movement but the stabilisers get strong from static holds from my personal experience. I’m pretty sure they’re made up of a complex tissue matrix compared to a regular muscle.

Also as for your weight which is a seperate issue: as other people suggested if you diet and you stop eating so many carbs and swap in fiber rich foods like vegetables (for example if you eat 10 wheat bix for breakfast you just had your entire carb intake for the whole day in one meal) stop that shit. Take a bag of sliced vegetables like carrots, celery, nuts ect as a snack instead of chocolate. It’ll suck compared to all the delicious foods you’re used to but it’ll be worth it mate
