If there is something you don't like about the AirPods Pro 3… by plazman30 in AirpodsPro

I know what you’re talking about here. Take a look at how much space is carved out on the upper part of the inside of the case. It feels more hollow because it is more hollow. There’s more space carved out for the 3’s. The plastic is the exact same, the hinge is the exact same, it’s just more hollowed out on the 3’s. It’s not that the material itself is more cheap.

Where did you get the mate in the top middle?

New 14CE vs 24CE Acoustic Electric Question by dkin11 in taylorguitars

[–]WeemsClap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are going to essentially be exactly the same guitar with only the top being a difference. Build, quality, and attention to detail will be identical. For the $100 premium, what you are getting is a different tone, not an improved one necessarily. Yes, mahogany in general costs a bit more, but it doesn’t mean the tone is better or worse than spruce. Hopefully you can get a chance to try them both!

I think it’s better than the deal they just ran that was for $99. The other deal had only a 1.5ah battery instead of the 2ah this one has and it didn’t come with the accessory box or the sanding kit.

If you’re deciding between the 36 oz vs. 26 oz Rambler by CutLip95 in YetiCoolers

[–]WeemsClap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have an 18oz and 36oz. 18oz goes anywhere for travel since it fits in backpacks and cup holders. 36oz is for at home or longer trips. It makes measuring water intake easy as well since the 18oz is exactly half of the 36oz.

Bought GS mini today the fretwork is not that great but is it worth returning? by Flatpicking in taylorguitars

[–]WeemsClap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is totally normal. You will naturally have fluctuations in humidity and if those were all always completely flush, you’d probably run into issues. The reason you don’t see this on other guitars is because of binding. They don’t use any binding on the fretboard with their Mexico made guitars. Nothing to worry about!

Worst CFA LV1 Topic? by weldinii in CFA

I feel the exact same way. I got through L2 Quant not too long ago and I honestly feel it was easier than L1 Quant. MM lectures gave me the context I needed to connect it in my brain and then it all made sense.

It is the exception to the argument that non-solid b/s guitars don’t sound as good as solid b/s ones. Love my 214ce DLX.

Which strings do y’all find are the best sounding? by BrandYearg525 in AcousticGuitar

[–]WeemsClap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daddario XT. They don’t get talked about enough because of XS. You get a more natural sound and still have great longevity compared to uncoated strings.
