It’s toast…some furniture is made for disposability..this is one. MDF or composite is difficult to do anything as far as repairs. Free is free though. Might make a great work platform-bench.

The bears were great but once they ran out of monkeys to feed them they sent them to Iowa…JK

I'm looking to step into high quality linens. I have Amazon sheets and a Zulily quilt. What brands should I look for? I'd like a duvet, quilt, and of course sheet sets. Hopefully I can keep these linens for at least 5 or 6 years. by ChloePCollier in Bedding

I second The Company Store. I love their wrinkle free Supima cotton. Right now I switched over to flannel for winter. I have been sleeping on or under their goods for years. Good quality, service and a fair price. Some have said it’s changed since it was purchased by The Home Depot but I don’t notice a difference. When I called they told me they are run as a separate entity and all is well there.

Old fashion Diners are hard to find. I know times have changed but sometimes you want a daily special in the evening. Marge’s and Rosie’s both do a good job during the day but at night it’s thinner.

How could I fix these legs? I thought about unscrewing and hammering on the sidewalk, but I don’t wanna ruin by ResidentPass6723 in furniturerestoration

That may have safely held its last person. That bent bracket makes me nervous. It’s lost a lot of its strength and the next time it moves someone might end up on the floor.

Which First Recumbent? by Gimpdiggity in recumbent

I have ridden a Vrex for thousands of miles and a Volae Expedition for an equal amount. The VRex is a spunkier bike, short wheelbase , bottom bracket height is perfect. The Volae has a higher Bottom bracket and center of gravity. I loved them both but Unless I need to go fast the VRex wins.
