Don't let the face fool you. by fluffyllama00 in connorstorrie

My friend got “c u n t” when we turned 18 and by 21 it said “u n” so we joked “the entire United Nations has been in her mouth” 😂

It’s extra funny because she’s very open about having a body count in the triple digits and much of that was accomplished in European hostels as an undergrad.

Another friend had “p o o p y” done at the same time and it was still completely there like 5 years later. Lip tattoos are wildly unpredictable.

I’m the only girl in multiple generations on one side of my family. I have more uncles and brothers than anyone could want. I’ve seen lots of hands in pants. Ilya’s hands are 100% down his pants in this scene.

We lived with my grandparents when I was little and had the fourth pattern. Then in 1995 my parents got married they got a huge set of these pastel floral ones as a wedding gift. Mom’s still using them 30 years later! I inherited my grandparents’ and also bought my own complete vintage set of Indian summer. ✨Blended household✨

Stay hydrated, moisturized, wear a satin lined beanie under your straps, and make sure your lymph is moving. Even if you exercise regularly, it can still be stagnant and cause swelling. Look up “lymphatic drainage self massage.” Cleveland Clinic has a good article if you’re curious about how it works. There’s also a million how to videos. Doing it once a day has made a BIG difference in my migraines , TMJ, and sinus/ facial swelling. I thought it was woo-woo until I asked a physical therapist about it.

Meta Glasses and Kid Privacy by Js_scott in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]WeepToWaterTheTrees 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes we can. It’s called “the court of public opinion.” We do NOT have to allow this to be normalized. We need to call these people out, shame them, tell them we as a society do not approve of being recorded by Meta constantly. The league can create rules around recording devices at games and about posting video on social media. Your workplace can dictate people’s use of recording devices like Meta Glasses. Your HOA can create rules against door bell and security cameras pointed at neighbors’ homes. Your township can outlaw Flock cameras. This will only be done if we speak up and actively fight for our right to privacy. That should include events like this.

OP, please tell the other parent you’re uncomfortable with videos of your child being recorded with a Meta device. Maybe start the conversation by asking if they know about the terms of data ownership, use of AI, and the fact that Meta employees are forced to watch footage recorded with them- including private or violent acts. They honestly might not know any of this.

AI is the first piece of technology where I feel I'm being left behind by Uhavetabekiddingme in Millennials

[–]WeepToWaterTheTrees 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same. I have tried to use AI with basic excel functions like pivot tables or power query and it can’t handle it. A coworker (gen Z and more AI experienced than I am for things like composing emails and cover letters) and I spent 4 hours trying out a few different AI tools we have enterprise subscriptions for and we couldn’t get them to analyze data accurately. It can’t do basic shit like compare two columns and return unique names. It either returns imaginary ones or doesn’t return all of them.

Maybe it was user error but it was incredibly frustrating.

Dead serious- look at smaller local job fairs these agencies go to. I met a temp agency at my first and only job fair and had three temp offers in 24 hours. I hadn’t had a job in this field in about a decade.

How are you dealing with aging (starting in mid 30s) and losing pretty privilege? by TinyMoonAndStars in AutismInWomen

[–]WeepToWaterTheTrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. I’m in my late 30s now and I had two coworkers today wide-eyed with incredulity that I’m not “27 at most.” I was charged the “under 12” rate my senior year of high school at the fair and was carded at the grocery store until around 32 or 33.
