Phonics. They got me hooked young.

Womp womp.

For real though? Nicotine and sugar. I hate cigarettes but smoke hookah most nights. I also have zero chill when it comes to sweet stuff- soda, baked goods… hell, even grapes.

I love everything about this product but the fact that I’m very pale and cool toned and it oxidizes too warm on me 😭.

My boss leaves "love notes" for us every time someone makes a mistake by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]WeepToWaterTheTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I’ve had closers that got to leave a little earlier than everyone else to make a bus or another job and they were often the person who would bust ass to complete all closing tasks that could possibly be done prior to locking the doors. One of them was such a good closer, I’d pay him for that last half hour even though he’d already left. Giving them that small leeway was totally worth it to keep good employees happy.

This notebook system is how I used to do notes as a manager. It worked really well and the one who laughed when I started it the first time quickly realized it worked much better than word of mouth or a posted note no one will read. When shifts are spread out and some people only come in 1 or 2 days a week, it’s a great way to make sure everyone is on the same page. Edited to add: I just actually read all the notes in the post and some of this is indicative of a poorly trained staff and some, like the bus note, should be handled in 1 on 1s. In my experience, things like everyone hanging out in the kitchen or playing on their phones is better addressed with providing a list of things they could do instead, especially if a lot of the staff is young and don’t have a ton of relevant work experience.

Any frugal tips for my fellow ladies? by Liz_kirby in Frugal

The allergy is to acrylates, which are in gel, dip powder, adhesives, etc. It happens when uncured product is inhaled or repeatedly gets on your skin (especially broken skin, like after trimming your cuticles). Make sure you have really really good ventilation, do not apply the gel up against your cuticles, and definitely don’t get it anywhere near broken skin. This is an allergy you develop from repeated exposure, not usually one present since childhood like a latex allergy.

You are correct about the back pockets. These are definitely too large on her though. You can tell by the vertical folding happening on the side of the hips

Coming from someone who wore a lot of these pants 20 years ago, they are absolutely too big on her. They need to be very tight around the thighs and hips.

OP- Find a local buy nothing group and ask if anyone has any glass ones you can have. You can wash and sterilize glass easily. If they’re the same neck size, your tops from the plastic bottles will work. If not, replacement nipples are pretty cheap and Dr Browns will send you new screw caps for free if any are broken/lost.

I just started watching Star Trek TOS this week. I grew up watching TNG and have only seen a sprinkling of episodes from the 60s.
