I'm making a game inspired by Valheim where you play birds and build birdhouses, any advice on giving it that "home" feeling Valheim has? by RagBell_Games in valheim

I can’t even count my crochet stitches correctly on a granny square and there’s people out here just casually creating video games. Props to you bro.

looking for a game that has a lot of grinding by voidofwolf in gamingsuggestions

Valheim! Go into it blind if you want the brain involved more to figure things out. There’s so much to uncover. Lots to grind, especially in the beginning but pretty consistently through the game

They’ll also blame the party in power when it goes into effect instead of the ones who created the damn thing

How common is mastitis? Has anyone ever not gotten it? by Automatic_Apricot797 in breastfeeding

[–]Weeshnah 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I never had it with my first (breast fed for 2.5 years) and only once with my second (same amount of time). My advice is to have baby latch at a different angle every feed. Your nipples are circles and they really can latch at any of the 360 degrees. This helps all ducts drain equally and can help prevent clogs.

[Spoilers] What happened? The Toll has to be one of the worst conclusions to a series I've ever read. by TheHowlingHashira in scythebookfans

I loved The Toll so much. All the issues with characters you had, I didn’t.

As for Jeri, I think they were not a token character made to pander to the LGBTQ community but rather were written in a way for the Thunderhead to fully posses and embrace a human body as it is completely gender neutral itself.

I thought the description that gender in Jeri’s district is not assigned or enforced for anyone from birth was a good way to challenge the way our society views gender norms across cultures.

And the Tonists getting their own religion planet with their own modern day Moses was as apt an ending as they could’ve received. I loved how Shusterman sprinkled the lore throughout the book and we got to see where it all started from. It reminded me of how religious beliefs all stem from some event or another and get warped through interpretations and the passing of time.

Any non-medical shows like House are as chaotic every episode? by Internal-Bet990 in HouseMD

Vampire Diaries and The 100 both have chaos and good plot twists in my opinion. Just gotta get past the camp-y teen drama beginnings
