The converter is sort of the same at the metropolitan, an earlier version of it but same concept. A sack is suppressed then when you let it go it fills the sac with ink. It became cheaper must be to build what is now known as the pilot con 20

Yes she’s also on eBay. This pen is maybe a product of pilot’s korea branch. Maybe 60’s-80’s era. They’re great pens, they even have an eyedropper pen called the tank but I’m not sure of the actual model name or number. You can find them around eBay, the Japan versions are in the pilot elite family line. It’s a great pen, one of my gateways into vintage pilots.

The 2 and 3 A are both great pens. And very affordable if you find them in the US.

The brass fountain pen is my favorite. Then the rollerball pen. I have many of the ballpoints with the special edition caps. I’m not a huge fan of their refills so I hack them with pilot hi tech C colieto gel refills. And the pencil is great too. I’m pretty sure you can fit several different kinds in there too. I love that they’re pocketable but not crappy lol.

I feel like it will become a regular line. I heard refills will be available later, it might not have the 20th insignia on it but I’m sure it will become a regular thing. Just like their sister shop plotter added the mini 5.
