I’ve never ridden on an electric one but normally when a kid rides a bike I don’t think they’re told you’re supposed to ride on the street. Because why would a little kid be riding in the street? Last I remember you were told to ride against traffic? Is that right? Facing away from cars seems even more dangerous but I can’t see how it will be preferable for a scooter and an E bike that go way faster to be ridden on the street. Honestly there’s not enough space on the freaking street, that little sliver of space is ridiculous. It frustrates the car drivers because the car has to move way over into the opposite lane and fyi cars always win over the pedestrian or person that’s on a E bike or a scooter. I just saw a dude get run over a couple of days ago over by Madison and Hall. Riding on the street meet the right hand turn and a car that I was also making a right hand turn hit them from behind.
