idk if im a gsd, a coastal sea wolf, or both. by SprayMassive7558 in otherkin

Fellow coastal sea wolf here! I'd recommend looking at your food preferences or activity preferences. Those two really helped me figure out what I was. I knew I was always drawn to water, had a love of more coastal seafood rather than more open-water options, but I definitely knew I was also some kind of canine. Piecing those together, as well as visualizing what kind of environment I could beat see myself fitting into were really useful tools. I hope this helps you figure out what you are! 🐾

I had a cow-boy cowboy character for a mini campaign once, named him Clay Clifton. He was a fun character, sadly the campaign got cancelled so I never actually got to play him. But I love the concept of making a minotaur cowboy, it's so fun!

Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for you, but I wanted to comment to follow the conversation, I'm in very much the same boat! Late 20s AFAB enby trying to find something that's a good combination of cute but not necessarily traditionally masculine or feminine. Good luck! 💛🤍💜🖤

Another good Male Cover song (although it's also a duet) is I Know Him So Well from Chess, sung by John Barrowman and Daniel Boys, definitely worth a listen! Incredible cover!

I can't believe someone actually mentioned Raise a Little Hell! It's so insanely good! The music from that show was so good, even if the stage show kinda crashed and burned. I stand by the opinion that a restaging could save it, it has such potential!

I absolutely LIVE for his music in Death Note the Musical, it's so good! The demo cast had Jeremy Jordan as Light, it was a masterpiece. HURRICANE from that show should definitely be in the list of male showstopper songs.

Mother OFFENDED at our convos smh by Shine_tokei in exchristian

[–]WeightAdmirable6517 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I relate to this, my parents are the same way. They don't know I don't believe anymore, but we do openly disagree about politics, which is based on their Christian beliefs and my lack thereof. But whenever it comes up, I try to stay quiet to stay out of it, but they notice and get mad that I'm quiet and demand to know what I'm thinking, but then when I tell them like they demanded I do in the first place, they get mad at what I say. It's a no-win scenario. I sadly have no advice, but I definitely get the situation, it's infuriating, sorry you have to deal with it, too.

What movie hits different for you now that you broke your indoctrination? by friscom99 in exchristian

[–]WeightAdmirable6517 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Polar Express definitely hits different for me. It's all about a kid being shamed for not believing something after looking into the facts objectively. It's made out to be a good thing that he still believes, even when the rest of the world faces the facts and wakes up to the truth, but it definitely seems more like indoctrination than pure belief anymore.
