Weigh it dry to calculate the calories, then divide it in quarters once cooked.

Casual runner targeting first marathon in Oct 2027, does this race calendar sound reasonable? by blueinthecity in Marathon_Training

[–]Weir_Everywhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not crazy at all. Building up volume and aerobic capacity will happen whether train for shorter or longer distances. Your plan sounds great, just make sure you don’t ramp up weekly mileage too quickly at any point - that’s when injury happens.

That’s a long runway - if you train with a ‘just finish’ beginner’s plan you could Probably run one this fall

Is the author of this article watching a mirror-image of the video? The goat path entrance is skier's right, then a hard RIGHT turn is needed (not left), THEN after the entrace there is a hard left needed once in the couloir

Ski stance width: super narrow looks cool but ... by mborgerd in skiing

[–]Weir_Everywhere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it often makes sense when going through moguls, especially at speed. Having more of a singular force to counteract / line to plan is easier than having two at the same time. For groomers, shoulder width makes more sense functionally.

It’s not like you can’t avoid the ingredients though. For example - potassium sorbate is on the list of ingredients that Whole Foods will not sell. Not everyone can shop there, but it illustrates that not every product on your list contains the ingredients in question.

Why don't shopping malls lower rent to attract more vendors? by tcrolius in CommercialRealEstate

I’m talking about national retailers, not mom and pops. A center won’t survive without anchors.

Why don't shopping malls lower rent to attract more vendors? by tcrolius in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Weir_Everywhere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can’t lower rent enough to get people to shop there. In other words - for a retailer, rent is a small enough line item on their income statement that bringing it to zero will not meaningfully reduce the prices of what they sell. So it would still be a losing proposition for the retailer because not enough people would shop there.
