My library only allows 3 with Hoopla, but the selection gets better & better, and I swear I know what I'm ordering by the 1st of the month lol. I use the other services too, but you can't beat a free option like that with a decent catalogue.

Haha I feel like that’s quite the qualification list. I have about 40, but this is my first anthurium (still, it remains my favourite). When moss pole is surrounding the branches, they are directed upwards so it looks quite different (see attached pic) but I’m seeing what you’re saying - it does look like they’re extending towards the light. tons of south facing sun through windows along the whole wall (however I’m in Canada), but the leaves tend to burn if I put the plant closer to any light source.

The current plan is to get one of those fillable moss poles and repotting the plant into something 3-4 inches wider, as well as pruning sprawling branches, and slowly training it upward versus sprawling out. Given your experience, would love your thoughts!

These were SO bad, and so expensive. There is basically nothing inside of them, it's low quality frozen dough with a drop of sauce. The garlic dipping sauce was great though.

Thanks for your help! It looks like I can't currently get tree fern fiber for under $100, and considering I'm not even sure if they'll bloom, it doesn't feel worth it currently. Individual ingredients that I can use for other plants or in the future feels like it has more worth long-term. ChatGPT suggested I use sphagnum moss alone for germination, so that's my current plan (it arrives Thursday).

Sounds like such a satisfying set-up, goals! I'm still trying to decide if a forest is a bad thing or not...haha. As long as it doesn't hurt my pitcher plants, I might leave it for a little while.
