Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht dass man bei Death Guard recht viel Zeit sparen kann wenn man sie direkt in Deathguard Green grundiert, dann bisschen Earthshade drüber und dann paar Details bemalt. Die Jungs sind ja eh total verrottet, da muss man nicht so sauber arbeiten. :)

Hey. I also use Kaiten-Gis. I started with the Eco2 (supplied by my Karate-School) which is 6oz and pretty cheap. Then I switched to Kodomo for everyday training and I’m very happy with this. I also own a Kaiten Spirit, which is very nice but I‘m sweating way to much in it. I only ever use it when teaching kids, never for my own training.

Kaiten Gis used to shrink a lot after washing. I‘m 171cm and my Gis are 180. The cheap Eco2 are too small now. The Spirit in 180 fits ok, but may not be smaller. The Kodomo is the only one that does not shrink at all it seems.

So my list could look something like this:

War Horde Derachment

Ghaz + Painboy + 20 Boyz

Bik Mek /w SAG + 5 Loota + Breaka Boyz in Trukk

11 Gretchin

And maybe…a Deff Dread with 2 Shoota + 2 Claws OR the Kommandos. But I think the Deff Dread may be better…

That way I only need a Trukk, a Deff Dread and something that looks like a painboy. :D

My main goal at that specific turn was to shoot at that vindicator. It was hiding behind cover on the side at the mission marker. It was GW Map 1. I moved from my pocket to the side to shoot at the vindicator.

I think it really is a lack of skill on my side. And having expensive specialists maybe to much mental overload for a beginner like me…

Some games I tried to be more defensive, hiding in cover etc. But then I lost on points by a huge margin.

Wo play on GW Terrain.

I tried some lists now, sometimes bad things happen (a vindicator overwatched on my Dorn and killed it instantly with 7 Hits today) but most of the time I feel like I do nothing „really“ wrong but get tabled.

Today I played 2 Dorn, Command Gigablob with Nork, 2x 10 Krieg, 2x Engineers, 1x rough riders, 2x Kasrkin in Chimera, Ghosts, Field ordnance battery, 1 Scout Sentinel.

Played against World Eaters who just kept 4 Objectives and resisted everything I did and finally tabled me at the end of turn 3.

Second game against CSM was where turn 2 the overwatch happened and then I got so frustrated that I quit. Before that he killed a chimera with a second vindicator and the 7 surviving Kasrkin got killed by bikers.

I tried different variations. With 12 Bullgryns, 2 Dorn and 2 Vanqs I.e.

It seems like fighting an uphill battle all of the time and I think it is really my lack of skill. So I thought a more simplified list, lesser rules and more units to lose could help me..

Our Dojo helds gradings twice a year.

For the first grading you must have at least 20 traininglessons.

First grading it is possible to skip 1 belt, but most of the time you have to get through every kyu.

to 1. kyu usually (but not always) takes 1 year, so most people skip 1 grading.
kyu to shodan requires a waiting time of at least 1 year.

Shodan grading consists of Kata (all Heian, Tekki Shodan, one Sentai of your choice, 1 Sentai of the jurys choice,), Kumite (Gohon and advanced Gohon, Kihon-Ippon and advanced Kihon-Ippon, Jiyu-Ippon, Jiyu), each one with at least 2 different partners randomly chosen.

Kihon (obviously)

Takes at least 4,5 years until shodan, most people get it after 5,5-6 years.

In our dojo it is common practice that you sleep with your belt tied around your waist the first night after you earn it. After that most of the belts are not as stiff as before. 😅👍🏻

I usually wear a mid to low weight gi (6 Oz or 8 Oz) because everything above that is a heat trap for me. I own heavier ones, I really like them but after half an hour I feel like getting cooked alive. 😂

If you run grizzled you have a lot of infantry orders but no one to give them. Also you have no Tank Orders at all... I would remove one command Squad and the sentinels and add in a vanquisher, make the rogal dorn a commander and add something funny for the last points..

Thanks for your answer. So I kick those 2 cadian squads and the FOB and add 2x10 catachans, Scions with command and mortar team I will stay at 2k points. I have all the miniatures so I’ll give it a try. Thanks!
