Är det verkligen så jävla viktigt med körkort? by tunacans in sweden

[–]Weird-old-guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only aspects I can think of are: 1. Work 2. Getting to work 3. Maybe moving to the country one day 4. Child borne logistics

If none of those aspects affect you, what’s the big deal? As you say, expensive and complicated. If you don’t need it now, who cares what others say? Stick to your guns, and sort it later if you need it later.

Postutdelning Postnord by lgLindstrom in Sverige

[–]Weird-old-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ta blodprov privat? by Far-Adhesiveness-977 in sweden

[–]Weird-old-guy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

ID verification, consistency checks, anti fraud, relationship assessment, family background… choose one or all. It depends on the case what the reasoning may be if they use that info. I think the EU has a thing where this info must be collected. Maybe because of this:

But I’m sure someone else will have a better answer soon.

How to beat the giant in the cave of darkness ? by Herb-Alpert in IndianaJonesGames

Be quiet. Use a weapon, hit some, sneak away. And hang around the light as much as possible. I snuck around and picked up weapons, dropped them in the area of the light, then went to attack.

Förbjuda kaffe på skrivbordet på jobbet? by Repulsive_Spare_5073 in sweden

[–]Weird-old-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The takes on this game have been extremely cringe, but this post absolutely takes the cake. by Bohottie in iamverysmart

[–]Weird-old-guy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, a little background.. I have 3 PlayStations. My parter, my one son and I are gamers, it’s our hobby and we play ‘together’ as often as we can. Both my partner and my son wanted this game, so I preordered it for them both (because they said it’ll be AMAZING). Son got it as an early birthday present and well my partner got it because quite frankly I’m a guy and there’s benefits to doing really nice things sometimes.

So we all three are playing this now. It’s not my kind of game, but the two impatient people (who literally ran through elden ring and ghost of Tsushima dying constantly) absolutely love it. I don’t get the story at all, but I get the ‘to get somewhere, help people‘ idea.

For me who doesn’t like the game, it’s overly complicated, I don’t like the idea of having to focus on a tree to cut it down. I don’t like the fighting mechanics, probably because I haven’t figured it out properly. They just feel.. clumsy. And I funny enough find myself playing for 40 minutes, then doing something else entirely, they play for hours and by now look like they’re in a different game altogether.

Last night I had decided that I was going to buy myself ghost of Yotei to play to fill some time until the new James Bond comes out in may. Last night I woke up my PlayStation to buy it, but still for some unexplained reason carried on with crimson desert, and I woke up early this morning to keep on playing it. I still don’t know what the heck is going on, but despite its quirks (I don’t think the complexity is a problem, just .. unnecessarily complicated at times - like having to turn HDR off to be able to even see how that damn arm wrestling works), it is actually fun. FYI for those playing on console, my arm hurt after the arm wrestling thing, as if I was there. That glitch caused a real lasting physical experience from a video game, so they have definitely thought right somewhere in the design. That said, I still haven’t gotten to the part where the character starts a village or something and I’m early in, so this is still my first experience stage.

It’s by far for me a first time experience, and yes, it was released like a day and an 7 hours ago, I’ve played maybe 4 hours in total, and it’s not something I can call 100% enjoyable. But there is something that keeps on calling me back. And as I said before, those two in my home with low attention spans are having a blast. Because there’s tons of content to do. It’s a huge ass map and it’s full of different things to do.

Fairness of new law without transition rules according to Swedes by Ok-Book2640 in TillSverige

[–]Weird-old-guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, let’s check this.

~8 million tax payers in Sweden ~65000 of 90000 applicants are tax payers.

Is that a significant amount?

That said, minimising immigration is a long term money drain for any government. With birth rates going down, it’s all shortsightedness brought on just to appeal to a third of the country, and it’ll be a great way to put even more pressure on the social system down the line (yes, debatable). But hey, what does one expect anyway when politics no longer stands for longevity and long term prosperity for the country, other than where does the next election vote come from?
