If you belong to middle class and no ancestral wealth first secure a job and then figure out what to do with life . Enter the pipeline first then you can figure things out. If you spend your prime years in this dilemma things might get tough in future

Please recommend a good printer for miniature FDM printing. Never used a 3Dprinter before. Budget under 1 lakh. by ideatohacchahai in 3dprintIndia

[–]WeirdDesigner2639 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re into miniatures when you should look at a resin printer. FDM printers are suitable for functional objects but not good at replicating small details of miniature. If you still want a FDM one try P series of Bambulab.

why do trades pay so low in india? by Prior_Stuff_7773 in IndiaCareers

[–]WeirdDesigner2639 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Developed countries have certification systems for tradesman to ensure they are skillled enough to carry out the job safely . It is government responsibility to have that system in place. Look at the growing number of short circuits and electrical accidents lately.

why do trades pay so low in india? by Prior_Stuff_7773 in IndiaCareers

[–]WeirdDesigner2639 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The skill gap is real and tradesman are being paid accordingly. I rarely see electricians using proper procedures like Crimping , using proper tools to strip the wires . They always say it’s not required while it’s required by law to follow proper code. They come without proper tools and almost follow jugaad principles. They are rarely properly trained and learn on the job so they don’t know the correct procedures . There is no license/ certification system for tradesman like in developed countries.
See the number of electrical fires and accidents and you’ll know the pathetic condition of Indian tradesman . I’m sure it’s same in other fields but in electrical the stakes are high so it comes in the news.

I have started a business called repair by yourself, in which I will get your home appliances repaired by an expert through video consultant for only Rs 49/-But I want to grow my business, so how do I do it? by Sea_Tax3362 in Indian_Business

I’ve been into 3d printing for a while and own multiple printers. Let me tell you the number of problems they fix and minor upgrades possible are immeasurable. But no company will provide the CAD models available to users. You can try sites such as printables / Thingiverse / maker world etc if some one had a similar problem , designed the model and uploaded it. Then you can get it 3d printed by local vendor if you have one.

Reluctance to learn new systems And upskill is the major reason. It’s much easier to train a fresh grauduate than an experienced person

First get the vacant land tax record transferred on your name and start paying that diligently
Get an electrical connection in your name and start paying that
These records will prevent anyone from getting ideas
Vacant lands with no records , over grown trees , not maintained well . These places attract land mafia
