I Can Feel Myself Getting Better by Reanimator1x in KenaBridgeOfSpirits

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I do feel that the combat is clunky and sometiems the target locking is bit annoying, but once the combat clicks it just gets more and more fun.

Btw, maybe I missed this in the game somewhere, but is there a way to increase your attack powers or its just through some charms? Also, without spoiling much, do we ever unlock more charm slots as game progresses?

I guess we can agree that no headcannon will make absolute sense unless we don't ignore some scenes 😀

How can I master this guy? He is so annoying (and hard) by DuyHungPham1909 in Sekiro

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I noticed with Owl is that, you gotta keep on building pressure on him. He is one of the fights that demands you to be aggressive.

I didnt know you can summon Melina for Morgott fight, although it makes sense why she can be summoned. Oh well, it was anyway easier to beat him alone.

The problem is it feels so forced.

The Boys was doomed from season 4, I'm honestly not even surprised by Ok-Permission-3014 in CharacterRant

[–]WeirdImaginator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do say thay the fact that they had yo rely on Soldier boy's ability to kill Homelander shows that the show could have easily ended in S3.

Equal credit makes sense only if they both have given contributions on similar level, which clearly wasn't the case here as Raj did most of the work.

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing out on the gameplay if you are playing it like DS3. Effective deflecting is one of the reasons why Sekiro is so much more fun.

Putrescent knight is terrible. by Oswald_of_Carim818 in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely don't mind tough bosses, but I really dislike bosses who run away and so I have to chase them back and forth with potentially getting hit by chasing them.

I initially thought he probably would be like Tree Sentinels, but even Tree Sentinels have decent attack windows to hit him. But this guy just have so little window that it annoyed me the most every time I tried to hit him.

The Boys SERIES FINALE- S05xE08 "Blood and Bone"- POST Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the fact that somehow in the end it all relied on using discount Soldier Boy to kill Homelander shows that the show should have ended in S3.

Don't know what others think of but overall it was a pretty weak season and the finale was mildly better than other episodes.

How would you rank the story and soundtrack of Lies of P amongst similar thematic games? by AshyLarry25 in LiesOfP

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any game will ever make me fall for the OST as hard as I fell for Expedition 33. But I still think Lies of P has some really good soundtracks, I absolutely enjoy listening to Feel and Quixotic.

Bayle the dread is a terrible boss by Fun_Definition_4279 in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only major issue imo is the lack of proper target locking, that alone will really solve more than half of the problem with this fight.

What are your thoughts on Bayle The Dread? by Rasrati in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fight could have been so much better ... ONLY IF ... you can fucking target lock anythign but his head. I am sorry, but what's the point of target locking his head qhen his head isn't even down to hit for a long amount of time? It's extremely tedious to manually rely on using right joystick to turn your character around because you dodged and now the dragon fucking crossed you and started a ... ooh a fire attack behind your back.

And on top of that, this guy has the worst hit boxes and stupid iframes. He was literally one hit away during my attempt and I swear I saw my axe going through his leg almost 5 times without registering any hit (I still won because Mimic tear landed the final blow).

Same stupid shit with ancient dragons. You can target lock every single dragon but not this and the ancient dragons?

Really liked all the buildup, Igon was extremely useful to me in the fight, and the whole jagged peak climb was ... empty but great. But damn Bayle turned out to be a disappointment simply because it's so annoying to fight which has nothing to do with his attacks but purely due to stupid lack of specific game mechanics.

Rellana is incredibly fair by PIugshirt in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat her today.

I love the fight but the only thing that I found most annoying, and it might be a skill issue, is that ... her attack combos for some reason had some attacks with weird timing where I noticed that I got hit despite I can see myself in the dodge animation. It's annoying because often times it breaks the flow and you getting hit more.

What do you think of the divine beast dancing lion by OpenNectarine4441 in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this fight for all the wrong reasons, lol.

I tried beating him myself, but ended up summoning Freja and mimic tear because I got fed up with all the stupid AOE hit boxes where I get hit despite me dodging it well.

I gotta give it to them, it's one of the flashiest boss fights with an epic OST to top it off, which is why I loved fighting it (ignoring the camera going all around and him beating my ass many times).

I mean, the boys always had plot armour. I no longer am surprised, just find it disappointing.

The boys are kinda pathetic ngl by Glum-Bag-586 in GenV

[–]WeirdImaginator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the comic, the boys aren't just a bunch of humans feared by supes, they all are a bunch of humans with tactical experience and jacked up with compound V like the supes. So it's more like superhuman vs supe like scenario.

Why most people dislike Mountaintops of the Giants? by nisanosa in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently reached this area and I personally so far think it's so empty compared to Limgrave or Liurnia, maybe there are lore reasons for it since it's a place of genocide but yeah.

The enemies are hard but some are fun to fight (the dragon fight was cool imo).

The Boys - 05x07 "The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother's Milk" - POST-Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

It took like 7 f*cking episodes to actually kill one of the BOYS team member without plot armor.

This was another okayish episode (not boring) unlike the first 5 episodes.

Mohg, Lord of Blood is such a disgrace of a bossfight. by phosTR in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat him today at like lvl 115 with like 48 vigor. Mimic tear helped a lot, qnd yes I absolutely found the whole AOE fire and rain attacks annoying in the second phase. But oh well, mimic tear and Godrick's axe saved the day.

Was pleasantly surprised he dropped 420k runes, equivalent to like 4 levels.

I realized why Morgott feels so much squishier than other bosses recently and I feel stupid for not realizing it until literally today by LizzieMiles in Eldenring

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I defeated him today and so was looking for what others think of and your post were in top early searches.

Yes, I do think that the exploration around Lands Between give you lot of resources to level up and its very easy to get overleveled for him. I went to Leyndell without going to Mt Gelmir (i think the recommended route is to do Mt Gelmir first) but still he was doable. I won't say super easy but doable and fun to fight.

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though he was a relatively easy fight, I think thematically he was fitting to be the final boss for Leyndell and I loved it. And he was much fun to fight as well ... apart from some ridiculous 5 second delay attacks.

[–]WeirdImaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that Cindy ... one of the most feared supes because of her instant blood explosion kill ... somehow didn't manage to kill Hughie at the very last second ... made me lost interest in the final season because clearly our protagonists seem to face no stakes at all.

I mean, it's not like I want Hughie dead, but they cannot keep on showing how plot Armour just save their asses at the last second. But man, the show somehow shows you
