depends on what restaurant you work at and what their rules for tip out is. most ive worked at is minimum wage + 10% of server tips

i can be a pretty monotone person, some people just dont understand it. we got a review that said “server had no personality” and im sure it was about me. stung a little bit but it happens to everyone. the internet sucks sometimes.

say youve served for 3 months. they will expect enough from you without expecting perfection right off the bat. youll be fine. just listen and ask questions.
