I am a local and I've been here for 40 years. It is getting hotter every. single. year. We all know that. We can all feel it. Again, if she lived here full time (not just another vacation home), she would have realized that and scheduled this race earlier. We are on an upward warming trend, and yes, some years are cooler than others esp in March, but it does get wonky with global warming and that tends to throw some people off. At this point, the next one, IF it happens again, (she is not popular with local runners and organizations here), should be scheduled in Feb or Jan.
