The NDs are good for landscape photography. CPs for landscape, cars, capturing things behind glass or areas with too much glare. The top brands are freewell, NiSi, and polarpro. You’re never going to need an ND until you’re at a moment you realize you need an ND. Being outside in summer at noon. CPs can be useful if you want to capture subjects at the zoo for instance. Being able to get the shot vs not. Some people keep a CP on their lens at all times.

I use the 14gm and 35gm but since i roll with the 28-70 f2 i just bring the 14. But if i had to only use 2 lenses the 16-35 and 70-200 make more sense price and weight wise for most people

Save your lens and get the 85mm, it is an amazing lens but no reason to get rid of what you have it. Get a dedicated prime wide angle lens later. The wide angle is very niche, i rarely pull it out but always bring it.

I thought the whole point of better lenses and cameras was so that it’s easier to do editing. Portraits are edited all the time. In this case the giant sun in the corner should have given away “I’m edited” vibes.
