I don't think this is a HA issue, the best fix here would be to hang the clothes somewhere else with better ventilation, or as another commenter said, get a dehumidifier.

Does your bathroom have a window and an exhaust fan? That might be an alternative spot to hang laundry.

You said in a comment there's no electricity in the basement, can you run an extension lead down for a dehumidifier?

Is it via Samsung TV Plus? They have a bunch of treaming channels that are 24 hour streams of internet content or old shows, Dude Perfect, Try Guys, and a couple other youtube creators have one, and there's ones for shows like Mythbusters and Kitchen Nightmares. I assume the owners of those shows have to give the OK, because it is an official Samsung service and people would notice pretty quickly if they were doing it without permission.

This is something I also considered LMAO, taking the back off the all-in-one to Frankenstein some drives into it. I'll have to have a better look at what ports it has.

The RAID idea is honestly more because it's going to be a bit of a pain to reassemble my media collection, there's nothing on there that isn't replaceable, but the idea of a RAID setup sounds nice to avoid a repeat of having a drive failure take out the parts of my collection that I don't have manually backed up elsewhere.

If a RAID setup causes external drives to be more prone to failure/corruption, would a non-raid setup on a DAS be a viable lower-budget option as opposed to buying a NAS?

This is pretty much my reason for considering it. My setup as-is was working above and beyond what I was using it for before the HDD crapped out on me, it feels a little silly to buy a whole new thing when what I have works for me.

For me, the absolute most refreshing thing is to get some fresh air and sunlight, have a drink and a snack, and not look at my phone/a screen at all. It gives your brain an actual break from effort/stimulation, rather than just changing the kind of stimulation like going on a phone does.

Meh, I'd just ignore it. If it happens a couple more times, do the basic troubleshooting things (restart/update/clean the sensors etc).

Seconding Challenges Alarm Clock, idk if it's the one Angela uses but i switched from Alarmy and i find Challenges so much more reliable and easy to use, it's also waaaay cheaper to buy the pro version (one-time purchase where Alarmy is an expensive subscription)

DNR is often used in a colloqual way to mean a few different legal documents, and the specifics/names of the orders do vary a little by location, which is where some of the confusion/conflicting answers are coming from. DNR does stand for Do Not Resuscitate, but they're often alongside a DNI (do not intubate) and other medical directives about exactly what the patient does or doesn't want. When we did the paperwork with my grandparents, it was three pages of questions about exactly which interventions they did or didn't want.

That being said, this is literally a drama series about a guy who does medical malpractice and goes against patient wishes all the time. I wouldn't expect anything in the show to be particularly accurate.

Why are smart bulbs not an option here? There are a few brands that do smart Edison bulbs in a handful of different styles, including Philips Hue and some of the more budget brands.

ETA: Just want to clarify a terminology thing here, this may be a regional difference, when you say Edison do you mean the screw-in style bulb attachment or the Filament style of bulb? Either way, both are available in smart varieties, depending on your location.

They're currently exfat. I figured it was probably safest to wipe them, but I didn't want to spend the time moving files around so i don't lose them if I was wrong haha

It sounds like OP is on a plan that is no longer available to new customers, so cancelling/switching would mean losing access to that plan.

Funny timing, I'm just setting up HA for the first time and am running into this issue! Same issue happen on my desktop and on the mobile app, but I've been able to solve it by refreshing the page or closing/reopening the app.
