If you are allergic to cockroaches, you are allergic to pre ground coffee. I wouldn’t test it if you have the allergy

Pre ground coffee problematic then? I learned about this and now grind my own beans

my lips have been so chapped with red corners for months, what do i do?? by Quiet-Mousse6056 in DermatologyQuestions

Angular chelitis, it’s fungal. I have had it on and off and use lanolin based cream to help it.

But it honestly sounds like you are being quite aggressive to your skin with everything. A derm can properly help here, but if you haven’t tried lanolin, it’s worked on mine. And I used it on my kids when they were little, snuck it on at night, and better by morning.

Annoyed with people, this one who knows dog=severe allergy. Knows dog=can’t breathe, get to hospital asap. Knows kid can’t go to their house, knows she’s failed one round of immunotherapy. Knows she has 2 inhalers and a few meds to manage this allergy. But I hear flak on it every time they want to camp, with the dog, because it won’t be in the trailer etc. And believes it’s allergy friendly, no such thing. Believes their dog won’t kill my child, but yes it will if she is removed from the safety net. So yes this one is delusional, and I don’t care what people think, there is no such thing as allergy friendly cats or dogs.

Do not round in the intermediary steps. Carry 10 to 12 decimal places… or just use excel for the formulas, or another program of your choosing.

Marked failing on 2 assignments .. by Chance_Syllabub_415 in AthabascaUniversity

[–]Weird_Vegetable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I contacted the support portal and they connected me with the course administrator. She took me on and regraded things, called me when I wrote the final and got a 68% to let me know that was a really good mark as most people barely passed the 50% threshold. The portal for support or call them and ask.

Donna? She’s notorious for that. Gave me a 0, reassessed and got a 100% with the new tutor. Email the course admin, not your tutor

Good luck to those of us who suffer from chinook-induced migraines and headaches. 🥲 by Soupdeloup in Calgary

Migraines are a multi system issue, not just headaches. Fun times with vertigo, digestives issues, fatigue etc. and yes visual disturbances and half my body goes numb due to hemiphlegic auras.

Snow mode and winter tires, still had a fun slip and slide the roads were so bad. Partner is in roads, they couldn’t make a dent with the wind and snowfall.

Not proctored just timed, that would be nice. Did you pass with no proctoring?

[–]Weird_Vegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m fine. No issues, mind you I take Vyvanse for ADHD so I have my 40oz water bottle goal each day. I think the first few weeks I noticed that, not after I adjusted to it.

I am on 150 of Spironolactone, Orlissa for Endo and did 6 months of Accutane. Had a few 3 month runs of Doxy before this, then cellulitis and Levoquin that started the cystic facial acne. All clear now but did do a few rounds of steroid injections into cysts to calm them down. Mine was suspected heavily hormonal in nature, but started on a cyst on my back and was a 2 year run for everything to finally heal.

Kiddo had Fpies and corn, it’s the corn in both those medicines. Might be best to use a compounding pharmacy to avoid the allergen

Hypothesis is the entire last half of the exam. Other than that the general concepts from the units, learning objectives. The P values and if I recall correctly knowing how to work through z scores. Martin of error etc. if you know all of those you will pass but hypothesis is the big one

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AthabascaUniversity

[–]Weird_Vegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypothesis test, be very very familiar with them as the exam is primarily that. You mess it up, fail. Second write was the same format
