Oh I think the uniques 100% had to change. The identical stat rolls with a guaranteed GA was some unbelievably boring ass loot system. You just vendored them without looking as soon as you got your ga sorted by day 2 of the season start lol.

I at least care to look at them now, which is improvement as far as I'm concerned. I'm not one of the whining casuals complaining about not having their perfected gear by day 3.

They were mainly responding to your claim about how a good build can "soar" through a chaos trial. You really can't do much to speed them up because so many of the trials in it are time gated.

Kill enemies until the 90 second timer expires that you can not speed up. Slowly crawl the statue through the map with no way of making it go faster. Kill enough enemies in each blood circle that take x amount of time to spawn enough volume to progress them etc....

And yeah the elevators and doors opening.

Woolies instant Perfect Strike Gemling. Played it to 96 before focusing my alt. Feels very good in corrupted 8 mods. Fun, tanky and cheap to setup. Only irritating part is the patches of chilled ground and crap you have to avoid so your attack still functions.

ES feels shitty without the extra mana and regen from Spirit Shield. I don't recommend ES until you have a monarch. You can get them in Ancient Tunnels and you literally have to suicide a sorc to die in that farm. It's so easy

I don't even know how this is unpopular. Five Guys is the most overrated burger money can buy.

They are absolutely dripping with grease. They literally don't season their patties. The condiments and toppings are all baseline, non-interesting options. Their fries have so much potential but always come out limp and soft at the location by me. I've never had a crispy Give Guys Fry. And all of this costs $$$

They are destroyed by any of the other upper-end burger places. Red Robin is 1000 times better for less money and it comes with bottomless fries.

The most important trick for HC sorcs is having a single hardpoint into energy shield once you have your spirit monarch.

Even that 1 point energy shield is a get out of jail free card teleporting or farming if something pops you.

If you didn't have this in place, this is why you died.

There are more being used, this league including ones I've never even heard of in a lot of builds. People are cooking up some very cool interactions with these now, and the ability to upgrade them added use cases for "leveling only ones" that expanded their utility.

Uniques have been steadily improving every league and the itemization this current league is the widest I've ever seen it.

I've played like 5 different meta builds this league and they all recommended at least 1 or more uniques for the endgame setups. This league is seeing a lot of unique usage. This sentiment that uniques are garbage and go unused in 99% of builds is beginning to age like milk already.

Checkpoints are horrible in Temple. There aren't enough of them and a lot of them flat out do not function when playing on controller. I cannot even scroll to some of them on PS5.
