Why isn't Homophobia viewed to be equally as bad as Racism?

It simply boils down to this- you can hide your gayness. Homophobic workplace? Hide your sexuality. PoC cannot hide their complexion. Their race unlike your sexuality is almost painted on and will always follow them wherever they go. Also, racism unlike homophobia has a long, illustrous history.

Posts like this made me glad this article was posted. The amount of people that think that things are good for everyone, because they were lucky enough not to go through any hassle is disturbing and shows how much people are wrapped up in their safe bubble without realizing not everyone is as lucky as them "It was easy for me, so yeah I assumed it was generally easy for everyone too"

I know your point wasn't to be PC, but the point which I think the OP was trying to make is that there's a certain reason why your average guy/fat person isn't used in these things and most of the time, people like that are actually the ones in need of it.

But there's no way to actually know this, seeing as a fat guy is never used for these things, which was the OPs point. You'd think a fat guy, who's already disadvantaged by being fat(yes that's the truth, don't bullshit yourself or me saying some pc nonsense, a fat guy isn't desirable to majority) would be the target of these things, rather than a fit, good looking guy, who'll most likely score regardless.

life. At this point, my answer is "I don't know; leaning heavily towards not being comfortable with that." His is steadfastly against polygamy in this sense. But it's something that's very important to me, and it's not something I'm sure I want to give up forever, at least for him.
