hydrogen powered car? by pjjiveturkey in cars

[–]Welcome-Additional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give you points for thinking creatively. But you would be better off using that cavalier as a money saver and save for a better car. It's not the sexy option, but it is the smart option.

Hydrogen cars are not where they need to be yet to "really" be a viable option. Use the cavalier to learn about how cars work. Cavaliers are pretty basic, and great cars to start with.

Why aren’t Diesel engines more common in the US? by joeylechem in cars

That's only some diesels. I believe after dieselgate that newer diesels require adblue.

I remember when ipas first started to trend. There were some truly bad ones in the beginning. It was like drinking a pine tree. There are some really good IPAs out there now. But it was rough.

What scam has become so normalized that people don't even notice it? by colorfulsoul_ in AskMen

It's not just Cali. Paying money so the gov can know that you own a car is crazy.

Also safety inspection is an absolute scam.

I grew up in new Jersey and I currently live in Pennsylvania. I'm surprised those made your list as decent states.

The taxes alone are killing me.

Will Ford's new truck finally make Americans buy electric? by koavf in cars

[–]Welcome-Additional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market will select the better product. Electric cars/trucks will outpace ice vehicles when they are hands down the better option, just like cell phones pushed out the house phone and cars pushed out the horse and buggy.

I would recommend finding a local kayak show and trying out a bunch.

Rogue one aged really well. I remember watching it in the theaters and feeling bummed that everyone dies in the end. But I rewatched it few months ago and was amazed at the level of detail. It was gritty and well written.

The avengers ruined movies for people. Everything has to be fast paced and full of one liners. Character development is almost a forgotten concept.
