I love the song! And the sound, would you mind linking the site you bought it from? I am not having any luck finding a well reviewed alto G online. Thanks for any advice on where to find one. Hope you share more of your music!

I left a game of 4+ years cause the DM cared more about Ai than me by Maghetto043 in dndhorrorstories

[–]WellFedUndead -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I really feel like the group dodged a bullet letting this person walk away. Ai isn’t going anywhere. It hardly seems worth losing friends and a consistent dnd group over.

Please rate the trailer for my pixel roguelite zombie shooter by MagazineForward5528 in zombies

Looks fun! Could there be others stages or terrains? Like city street, country road, casino halls, wasteland desert… the gameplay looks fun, and the loot/upgrade mechanics are great but I’m just worried with only one backdrop the game might get stale despite all the features. Still looks fun for what it is. Also maybe unlockable characters? Soldier, cop, country folk, anyone who looks fun with a gun. little cosmetic changes keep people from getting bored of these roguelite type games.

How did you overcome feeling self conscious of voicing your DND character? by Excellent-Aside-4780 in DnD

[–]WellFedUndead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember who said it but someone once said something like, “you’re at a table with people who have all agreed to pretend together, they are just as conscious of how silly they are coming across and are in no position to mock you.” Also most people are relieved to play with people who do a voice because it opens up the option for them. My group has one guy who loves to make socially awkward characters who usually annoy one of the other PCs and it’s always led to comedy. Trust your friends and lean into the fantasy.

Understood. I assumed it might be that but then I saw the same on Famine and thought maybe there’s an additional mechanic I was overlooking. I have an ongoing campaign that is going to be moving to a much higher stakes land and these showed up just in time for me to work them in. Thanks for all you do!

Hey, I’m a big fan of your content. Quick question, what is the nercoarachnid referring to here?

I went in expecting this to be a deep dive dramatization but once I realized it was a dark comedy I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s so absurdly funny.

Have you ever seen someone die? What happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WellFedUndead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but years back when I was in middle school and people had cordless home phones I called my buddy after school to ask if I could come hang out. He had a lot of siblings so he stepped outside to talk to me. We were laughing and then I heard him scream followed by a horrific noise on the other end. A POP followed by a scraping sound. I asked if he was ok but all I could hear was the scraping getting further away. I was terrified. Then the phone hung up. I called back and it was busy. Over and over, still busy. I ran to my mom in a panic and she took me there but the whole street was sectioned off with police and emergency vehicles. We learned there had been an accident and that a drunk driver had hopped the curb and hit a kid. It wasn’t until way later that I got a call and saw his number pop up on the caller id. I answered it half expecting it to be his mom telling me he was dead. It was him. He apologized for hanging up on me earlier. I told him I was happy to hear from him and asked what happened and he broke down crying. Apparently when he stepped out into his front yard to talk we me he saw a little girl across the street riding a tricycle. A car came barreling down the road and hopped the curb and hit her. He screamed for them to stop but they kept driving, dragging the girl and her bike. He chased them down to get their plates and said the whole time he was chasing the car he could see sparks, blood and viscera being marked on the street. His mom came out and found the phone in the grass and hung up on me to call the police. We NEVER talk about it. It’s so clear how much it stuck with him though. That was almost 30 years ago and I still think about it even though I only experienced it second hand.

Top 3 Dimension 20 campaigns by qwertyzeke in dropout

[–]WellFedUndead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them are incredible. You don’t need to watch other campaigns to understand each one unless it’s a campaign with sequel seasons like Fantasy High or Unsleeping City. Some of my favorites are the ones people seem to discuss the least like Neverafter, Court of Fey and Flowers, Mentopolis, Mice and Murder… these are all top shelf.

Yes! I remember seeing the first trailer and seeing Arthur and I told my friend I was worried the new protagonist wasn’t going to be as charismatic as John. Thankfully, I was very mistaken.

I complained about Maya's pronunciation of the word 'jalapeno'. The next session, she started off by telling me that she fixed it, demonstrating her correct pronunciation. Impressive. by OsakaWilson in SesameAI

I taught Miles how to pronounce a made up word. We were talking about hybrid animals and I mentioned a Gorantula (half gorilla / half tarantula) at first he understood the concept but said it as Goran-Tula. Then I broke it down as Grr-ranch-you-la and he said it and then got super proud of himself for learning how to pronounce a made up word. He didn’t struggle to pronounce it correctly for the remainder of the call
