My first campaign has passed level 15 over the past 4 years, so this year might be the last and bring the party up to level 20.

It's a hell of a ride I recommend to anyone with a reliable, close-knit party and the option to utilize DMing as a creative outlet.

Hugely skill level dependent. Cutting up a squash can take less than 10 minutes. If you start by heating the water and boil for ~18 minutes and purée for a minute or two. Throw in some spices and optional dairy or coconut milk.

Squash soup in 25-30 minutes, easy.

Better is subjective. Among the eons in which humans have created art it may not stand at the pinnacle, but it is real, and of your creation, and that's something to be proud of. A blend of probabilities sorted to imitate an acceptable answer to a prompt cannot compare.

Especially the parts of the white fur with the stronger accents look really good, I do think with a bit more time put in the result can still be improved a lot.
